Dual Coil Woes

So, I have my iclear 30S and a protank 3.
Both are dual coil and I admit, I did abuse my 30S.. I just topped it up over and over until it was unvapable before I cleaned it but it's never been the same and quickly makes fresh juice dark and taste like crap.
My protank which I have had for only 6 days, has been washed and dry burned every tank full but is doing the same.

What the hell is going on? I have had single coils last me weeks before needing replacement! ?

What ratio liquid are you using? It could be to thick for the dual coils to handle but then again I haven't tried them yet so I'm just trying a logical answer first sorry

I use VG heavy liquid with Dual Coils, don't ever clean them and still don't have any issues . . . what liquid and voltage are you running them at Chiller?

Perhaps you are running them at too low a power setting? ... dual coils need at least half as much again as you would use for a single coil as the current is split between the two coils .... I would normally run a single coil at around 6.5 and a dual coil at 10 watts.

Vg heavy juice between 70 - 30 or 100%
Power at 8 - 11.5w
No dry hits, just tastes like baba.

I would be inclined to bin the head and use a new one ... life is too short for all this faffing about to try and get every last minute of usable life out of a head ... I am beginning to think that Perpetua is on the right track regarding washing and dry burning, ie: don't bother, just vape through flavour changes, use it until the vape or flavour are deminished and then bin it.

Not sure where to buy new heads yet... the shop I got it from doesn't have them in stock and I haven't found them on fasttech which is a shame because I have a oending order in there.

That`s very strange, all my Innokin dual coils last for months, and I vape at 10/11 watts all the time ???
