Christmas dinner over and cleared away, feet up, nice glass of single malt and watch a couple of the greatest classic movies of all time .. it is indeed a wonderful life.

@freefromsmoking is on my wave length, he obviously loves Christmas like i do, a time of the year to feel festive and put all things behind us and enjoy, so i have come to the conclusion that all the hum bugs are miserable gits.

We are bright and cheerful, yet cold, it's just Christmas starting in November, then continuing and been a meaningless, materialistic time  that we hate

I don't want to bring down the light hearted tone of this thread... but, on a serious note, I think the reason I personally don't like this season is because I have a heavy 'guilt' feeling of why should I be happy and joyeous when so many people around the world are suffering.

For the other 99% of you, go for it, have fun, but think of others.

I fully understand what you are saying about the rest on the world but for me life is way too short for me and what i have at this moment is too precious to think about the rest of the world, my motto is my family is all what matters, might sound bad but that is me.

Very selfish of me i know but it is how i am, i myself don't give a damm about myself, i have done all i have ever wanted too and now for me it is what i want for my kids, nothing else matters.

Damm i am sounding like a Hum Bug
