Aldi as from 8th selling Medion tablet, anygood ?

8GB memory for the Aldi and 16GB for the HUDL but the Aldi comes with a 3 year warranty, which is very good IMHO.

jeffc the spec is very good compared to the Samsung Galaxy Tablet in fact the Aldi one looks better.

You also have the 3 year guarantee with Aldi and IMHO Medion stuff is good.

Jeff, it's a great spec for the price.

Two quick points -
It will only surf "out and about" if you can connect to a wifi network. Unlike a phone it doesn't have a SIM to connect to data.
I'm of a certain age and chose a 10" tablet over a 7" simply because I can see it better

I've been using Medion products (laptops/PC's/hard drives etc) for about 6 years. They are brilliant. And the 3 year warranty you get when buying them at Aldi is a no quibble warranty.

The hard drive died on the first laptop I got from them - just a couple of weeks before the end of the 3 year warranty. I rang them up & they told me to first of all see if I could find someone to retrieve my pics documents etc. I said I was concerned the warranty would run out before I could get this done & also wouldn't it void the warranty. Their reply was as I'd logged the fault before the end of the warranty, it would still be honoured & they gave me a reference number to quote & that no it would not void the warranty as they knew how upsetting it could be to lose all documents.

To cut a long story short, when I rang them back & said I was now ready to send the laptop to them. They sent a pre-paid courier label to me & gave me the number of the courier to ring to arrange for the laptop to be picked up (free of charge) at my own convenience. 10 days later, the laptop was returned to me with not only a new hard drive installed, but also a new keyboard as they felt it was looking a bit worn. Now that's what I call excellent customer service

What I do with my tablet if I'm out and about jeffc is to use my mobile phone's wifi connection . . . if you've one of the newer ones, then it's quite straightforward to set it up from the settings menu.

It's about the only thing I can do easily with my phone, it's almost beyond me to make a phone call or send a text with it.

I can second what Chrissie said about Aldi Warranty second to none.

My computer broken 18 months in they sent a pre-paid label, 10 days later computer back all fixed. Then 5 days before the warranty ran out it broke again, again they fixed it. They don't stop the warranty unlike come companies once you have had it fixed.

If you can get it go for it as its a steal . Medion have been bought over by Lenovo by the way .
The tablet has better spec than the Samsung. If your wanting to spend a bit more look at the Lenovo Yoga tablet

What do you plan on using it for?

Quad core so probably a RK3188 or MTK6589 processor both of which are very good.

Not a bad buy at all, for the price.
