I was just shopping for dropper bottles and found this site (their prices are pretty good!) They also do flavouring - I know the essential oils are probably not suitable but further down the page there are ordinary flavourings which to my very novice mind look possibly suitable for vaping. I wondered if anyone had any thoughts? I quite fancy trying Christmas pudding! At £5.95 for 30ml they seem good value if they are as strong as they say! Here's the link www.creamsupplies.co.uk/cafe-/-bar-drinks-flavourings-flavouring-drops/cat_3417.html

I've just sent Special Ingredients an email to ask if any of the drops contain diacetyl - will post back when I get a response... assuming they don't and as they are water based, I would guess they'd be worth a punt, wouldn't they?

We need our flavours for vaping to be stronger than the bog standard supermarket flavourings I'm more than happy to use our tried and tested Vaping Vendors for flavours. Mixing makes vaping so inexpensive that I don't see the point of saving another few pence on flavours that may not be quite right

Anyway, if there customer service is anything to go by (and this was Special Ingredients direct - same price as Cream Supplies) I have had a response already... Hello, Thankyou for your email. The only flavours that MAY contain small traces would be butterscotch, rum and raisin, toffee and caramel.
Kind regards
Daniel Booth

SPECIAL INGREDIENTSThanks lairey and@karma for your thoughts - I agree, I am happy with the tried and tested vendors too, I was just browsing and the Xmas pudding caught my eye so I thought it was worth posting to see what everyone thought!

I'm not entirely certain how good water based flavours would be for our purposes Sal, generally the ones we use are PG based . . . sometimes VG or Ethanol. They could make a mix very runny, especially if you use a PG base, flavours might not last/carry as well either.

Perpetua thank you, I did wonder about that, ah well, it's too late for this year (with steeping!) so I have a whole year to think about a few Christmassy recipes

Well, first, it's massively strong stuff.
3 drops in 50ml.
It has a deep flavour, but this seems to be mostly muscovado and brandy, not much fruit.
Could benefit from a bit of sweetener and mixing with some dark fruit flavouring, fig or something

Interesting ukric, it said they were particularly strong on the website. I may have to have a little experiment myself now. Fig flavouring sounds a good idea!
