Apex Ultra RES on a GGTB

I know we have a few ( ) GG fans on here, so I thought they might be interested in this. Its a man using an Apex Ultra (NOT Ultramax) RES unit on a GGTB as an alternative to an Iatty:

Just bought an Ultra with RES from Cotty77 on UKV for £80

I might give the ultra to my son & keep the RES for my GGTB.......or i might not....we'll see

I've received my Ultra today.....it's so small, lol

and the RES does indeed work very well on the GGTB

one q for Prof......i've ordered a couple of LR306's (joye) to try, but looking at the manual, i need some kind of adapter sleeve to use them, is that right?
