hi guys , i have a provari winging its way to me but i have a small battery problem , all of my 18650s are flat top , is it safe for me to put a tiny magnet on the battery so it fits the provari? cheers

I do that with some, I also soldered some copper nipples onto a couple of flat top panny's.

I did that once Never again the magnet moved & touched the side & shorted out red hot mod (luckily I got it apart in time) lesson learned

AW's or Efests all the way from me . . . my AW's have lasted best part of 3 years before I've needed to replace them.
Provape do say you invalidate your warranty if you use anything else, although how they check is beyond me . . . but it's a no brainer if you're going to lash out on an expensive device and then risk wrecking it for the sake of the correct battery.

Yay me! The Provari I ordered arrived yesterday. Nay me! I'd ordered 18350 batteries with it. (It's a regular Provari not a mini)

thanks guys the provari has landed along with a spare end cap with a spider engraved , the 18500 end cap an 18650 extension ring and 3 e fest batteries , to say im chuffed is an understatement. thanks for all the help
