Northamptonshire BBC protest 11am 11/111am on the 11th of the 1st - BBC Northampton, Abington Street, Northampton

"We care, we are not going to go away. Section 18 has no part of the TPD because vaping is not a tobacco product, it's not a medicinal product it's a consumer product. There are 7,000,000 vapers in Europe, 1.5million in the UK, and these numbers are growing exponentially."

I am going to write to the newsdesks of the Chron, the Herald, the BBC and ITV to inform them that this is taking place. I am going to invite all MPs and MEPs in Northamptonshire to attend and show their support. Northampton MEP is very supportive.

This is a cross-forum thing because this is a cross-vaping thing and I'll be posting this message on other forums.

Any suggestions welcome - all Northamptonshire vapers welcome.

Reminder that there's a vape meet outside the BBC in Northampton this Saturday at 11am. Needless to say the more of us who turn up the better it will look.

I've been in touch with the media, MPs and the MEP...only the UKIP MEP has got back in touch and may attend to make his point that Britain shouldn't be in Europe. Hopefully some of you have also written to them to impress upon them how important this is to us.

With no one else expressing an interest and one more person pulling out I am sad to say that I am writing to the MEP to explain we will not be doing this on Saturday as two/three people vaping outside BBC Northampton will look, frankly, f******g ridiculous.

We get the politicians and rules we deserve.

There is something about the vapers in this area that is odd, trying to get them to go to a vape meet is difficult too. Either apathetic or DGAS, don't know which.

We are expecting a "Mass" turnout, come and join us.
