Great expectations

So I finally got my vamo v2! Its a second hand ebay find but it's clearly as new condition. Im just not getting it yet. I thought it would be a different league from my 650mah riva batteries but it's just the same, but HUGE! I've just got it cranked up to max expecting plumes but can't tell the difference. Still looks cool - my kids think im "the doctor"

Any tips? Should I get a rebuildable?

What Tank do you have at the minute, and what kind of Vape do you want. Big Throat Hit, Fantastic Flavour or Clouds to Hide yourself in?? I can tell you're getting hooked!!

crin766 have you set it to VW as you may find that better than VV.

Only you can decide what is the best VW setting for you, but I find 7 watts hits the spot on taste, flavour and vapour.

I find at around 2 ohms, 12 watts is ample. 1.5 ohms I'm finding about 10 watts great.

Watts means that whatever ohms your coil is you will vape at that wattage.

Using VV is when you need to change it if your changing attys.

crin766 you will see a massive difference if you take a step up in atomisers, a lot will disagree and say that PT's and Iclears are great (im sure they are) but if you really want to make any difference to your vape then grab yourself a Kayfun. That was my first rebuildable and I now have 3 of them (I would happily take another one if one came up cheap enough) and I put it in front of most of the other atties I have tried and moved on.

VOLTAGE TYPE:
Voltage to the atomising device can be provided in two ways from the mod.
RMS and AVG. It is recommended that users use the RMS (Root Mean Square) mode as this will be a more reliable and accurate method of delivering consistently accurate voltage.
• Hold either the OR button for 10 seconds to toggle between modes.
• RMS mode = N02 displayed on screen
• AVG mode = N01 displayed on screen
Whatever version of the mod you may have the voltage method should be remembered even when batteries are changed.

If you are putting 15 watts through something and it vapes the same as a riva at maybe half that, then I think something is wrong. Feeble juice? knackered heads?

But yes, massive throat hit, more taste, clouds of vapour, bigger p - well perhaps not that - you need an RBA.

This one is 1.9 Ohms

What voltage should a fully charged battery be?
