I dunno if you can post on that forum in Australia, but I might try and post a thank you and see if OP would mind me nicking some quotes, the general thrust is well put even if the Target Recipient is a Western Australian Health Agency!

It was one of the things that struck me, that the pathetic attempts to dismiss ecigs by the Cancer Council of WA were virtually no different to what we've heard being spewed forth by CRUK.

Just goes to show that no matter how far you travel, lazy, ignorant, patronising, pompous self righteous zealots are the same the world over.

Cliff the original poster on UKV did just that , he sent the lady a big thankyou note which she replied to in very humble terms now that she has a huge fanbase ! She did give permission to cut n paste or use whatever of the text as you see fit .

Just to echo the comments again of others , a superbly crafted response from Mary aka Rose  that deserved a far better response than what she received . Again as 4madcats states this is eerily similar to the response we got from CR_UK WITH 2-3 Blogs with hundreds of comments made and maybe 1-2 trite dismissive comments in reply .

It's always going to be very much an uphill battle with orgs like these because they have huge vested interests that do not coincide with ours!

She summed up every counter argument and defense we have perfectly.
It's also frightening how the points she is facing exactly mirrors our own, they have been told enough times and they still don't listen.
I'm pretty sure they (they as in the anti-ecig brigade) are willfully ignoring what we say and the science/facts because it suits their interests not because they believe it.

As we've found it's hard to argue with corruption.

It is illegal to sell e-cigarettes that contain nicotine under Australian law.

However. It is not illegal to have e-cigs and liquid imported for personal use.
