A friend of mine is looking to rehome her cat. It's a slinky grey female. She is looking for a reliable cat lover to give this beauty a new home. If anyone is interested, please send me a message.

Just thought I better add....this kitty needs a quiet home. No other pets or small children. This is why my friend needs to re-home it. It isn't settling or getting on with her older cat. She also has young children & the cat can't handle them. She is wanting it re-homed a.s.a.p. Please ask about just incase someone you know can offer this kitty a home. Thanks

I think Eppie may have sent you company Hissie. Mutual needs and comfort you can both fulfil Barney Rubble was in the habit of coming into my house via the catflap while I was at work. Judging by the muddy paw prints and black and white cat hair on my bed he made himself very much at home with Gypsy Cat and Tim2 cat, but vacated the premises whenever I came back. Tim2 was a very big boy and became ill. Vet had to do an exploratory and found a tumour the size of an orange that had made liquid in Tim2's lungs. He didn't waken from the anaesthetic, which I was glad of because it saved me from making a hard decision. The night Tim2 died Barney Rubble didn't run away when I came in. I put down some extra food and he came to eat it while keeping a beady eye on me, then went out. He came in next morning and ate breakfast then went out. That night he let me touch him. Next night I was able to pick him up and put him in the cat basket for a trip to the vet. One of his 3 remaining teeth was removed, he was neutered, his eyes and ears cleaned up, claws trimmed and he was de-flead. He was quite violent to the veterinary staff but purred like a kitten when I came to collect him. He only lived for another six months, and was on antibiotics all that time. I like to think he had a good end and I think he helped me to get over my loss of Tim2. Sometimes decisions are more or less made for us.

He was such a loving cat once he got over his shyness Perpy. I feel sure that he once had a loving home and somehow got lost. He had some sort of jaw misalignment and bad gums which is probably why he lost his teeth. He was on a maintenance dose of antibiotic. Blerdy tricky cutting the teensy little tablet into 4 so he could keep eating. Awful thing is, I don't remember what he died of

I know that you all mean well, but I am not ready for another pet. Also, if & when I do decide to bring another animal into my home, I want 2 pets. Either a dog & a cat or 2 cats. Eppie completely ruled the house & didn't allow any other animals into my home. I don't really want that again to be honest. The cat my friend is trying to re-home has never settled in her house due to her having another cat & a stray kitten has wandered in her home now & the slinky female just isn't tolerating it at all. I do hope she does find it a new home, it's just not going to be mine

Hissie I didn't mean to be insensitive to your feelings. Sorry if it seemed as if I was pushing you into a corner (which I guess I was :-[).

Don't know how I feel to be honest clutter. Which is another reason not to rush into anything. Eppie is still comfortably settled on my bookshelf at the moment as I still haven't found the right time to scatter her ashes. I guess it has only been 2 weeks since she passed away
