Getting back to normal...

[Raffles]

Just got back home, having spent Xmas morning at the ex's with sons, their partners & grandkids. Lovely to see their excitement as they opened their pressies. The eldest son & family then went off to his in-laws for dinner, and I went to my youngest son & fiance's home for Xmas dinner and the rest of the day & night. Overdosed on 'Fools & Horses' on the telly. Bit of a panic with the oven but all came good.

Had to come by one of the biggest 'outlet villages' on the way home today, and it was gridlocked, bl**dy crazy. But I did bring back my doggy bag with turkey, pork, gammon and booze, so I'm sorted for today as well.

Kept in touch with the forum on his iPad, but didn't have my password so couldn't join in.

Hope you all had as good time as possible, and can I now please take my Xmas hat off!

So glad you enjoyed yourself Raff. You are so right about watching the kids open their presents. It is by far the best bit of Christmas for me to get a big hug, kiss and a thank you. Then knowing you must have got it right as they play with your prezzie most of the day.

Yep... It was quite easy this year, especially with Liverpool at the top of the league (at the moment!)

They've both had trials recently at Liverpool & Everton. Keeping my fingers crossed that I could be a Grandad kept in the lifestyle he'd always dreamed of.

Yep... It was quite easy this year, especially with Liverpool at the top of the league (at the moment!)

They've both had trials recently at Liverpool & Everton. Keeping my fingers crossed that I could be a Grandad kept in the lifestyle he'd always dreamed of.

Have you seen the ad (can't remember what for?) where the Dad builds a tree house for his daughter and it's not right until he paints it pink. Love it.
