Morning all, well I turned grumpy old man last night lol, was naff tv, should of gone out to pub. Too much mixing drinks, Xmas mead, lager, bottled ales, red wine, brandy and ouzo! but had a very early sleep for me so wide awake! Hair of the dog before kid wakes up me thinks!

All the TV companies must have saved / made a fortune over this period. How many technicians does it take to switch from one crap film to the next with nothing of interest in between. They really are taking the proverbial.  |

I cancelled Sky long time ago and I'm seriously considering not getting a TV licence when we move and fighting my case in court just for the hell of...ok maybe not... But I certainly feel like doing it. |

But I certainly feel like doing it. I would NEVER pay a Sky subscription, but am seriously considering their one off FreeSat installation, as the aerial reception here is poor. Plus I would like to get the 'Gold' channel... had a a great Xmas watching 'Fools & Horses'. |

On a plus side the tv was good today and tonight, I've sat and watched it for hours and now I'm looking at a computer screen, I'm gonna end up needing glasses at this rate.

Feck sake!!! Just had me bubble burst big style. I was happily enjoying the geriatrics on BBC2 and thought their NYE music show was live, but it's been recorded a few weeks ago and they're all pretending to be celebrating NYE. W the absolute F?!?! That's not uncommon. I've seen so-called 'New Year' shows recorded in August, ffs. |
