Hi Guys, Ive been off Cigarettes around 2 months now, thanks to the power of Vaping!
Theres too much choice! I feel like im going insane with the amount of different companies offering me their 'best' liquids.
Why do liquids vary so much in taste? i've had the Totally Wicked titan range and the debang or dekang range, neither taste like they're in-date for some reason. Don't know maybe its because I'm new to this still. Also tried the iBreathe Range, however only tried their menthol and thats the best one by far. Surely menthol should taste the same across the board?
Can anyone recommend any others?

Hello & welcome alistair86 lately, I've been buying all of my e-liquids from Joose-Juice. Their 10ml bottles are only £1.49 & they do BOGOF on their 30ml bottles & you can use discount code AAEC12 for 12% off the 30ml bottles, so you end up paying only £6.49 for 60mls. They are closed at till Saturday, but definately worth you checking them out when they re-open - their menthol is brilliant - www.joosejuice.co.uk/

It was because Jacvapour Menthol tasted so much like Menthol Ciggies that eventually I went 100% vaping. Since then I have tasted a lot of different companies e-juices and flavours, but even the same flavour from the same company can taste different from one sample to the next which is why, after nearly 9 months, I started to mix my own.
I keep my mixes simple. I mix about 200ml of my favourite tobacco mix and that does me a couple of months. This tobacco mix I use all day every day. In the evenings I will vape a fruit flavour for a couple of hours and finally my menthol one before bed. So I make up 30ml of Minth (mint & menthol) and 30ml of a fruit flavour and again they will last me a couple of months. Mixing all these will take me less than an hour and then I don't need to think about mixing until my stocks get low again.
Everybody's tastes are different and there is no point in folks telling you to try this or that. What I love, you will probably hate. I have seen folks rave about Grants Vanilla Custard or some Cheesecake Mixture and I have rushed out and bought these, only to give them away because I found them disgusting.
All you can do is try a selection of 5ml or 7ml samples from all the different firms around and find, for yourself, which ones you like.

Hi alistair86 and a very warm In addition to LTE and JJ, check out Smoke Rainbow They do 1ml samples of over 400 different flavours for around 50-60p each. Means you can have a try of some flavours that may sound nice, but you're not too sure about, or try something that sounds totally weird, but, hey, who knows?

It's a stupid company that sells re-branded Dekang for twice the price. Dekang is odd stuff. I vape 3 of the tobaccos, but the rest is an acquired taste. Safe enough, long-standing Chinese company. Totally Wicked can be OK. I don't like much of it, I must say. Good enough, reliable. iBreathe are a legitimate company rumored to have signed up with ECITA, but I tried a load of their juices and they are vile, not to mention an ingredient list full of unknown (mostly plant) chemicals. There is no mention of ECITA on their website and considering some 3rd party vendors were telling people it was the "only e-liquid approved by the government" then I'd say that was enough to see them shut down. ECITA do not list them as members. So, not good news really. I'm sorry. Chinese liquid (Dekang or Hangsen) is different across the board to other liquid. Good luck.

Vapology make excellent juice, and tailor it for your specific taste - mg, VG/PG and additional or more flavours.

Everyone has their taste and opinions when it comes to e-liquids it seems. Totally Wicked I found to be nasty tbh so definitely varies in individuals taste. I have heard the same rumour about ECITA and iBreathe. Apparently, in a few weeks they will be approved by ECITA. The vendor that supplies me with iBreathe Liquids has mentioned the company going through a phase of expansion and until then we will see. For the moment, i have bought 11mg watermelon and 11mg menthol..great taste and pull, Chuffed to bits with it..this is my mix i think. awesome.

As in your original post the choice is bewidering, and as I found out whilst starting on my own juice quest there are good uns and bad uns. Some are very cheap, and some are very expensive, and the price isn't always reflected by their quality and flavour.
Unfortunately only your taste buds can make the decision, so one man's meat is another man's poison. Also, bear in mind that your taste buds will probably change through time, as a result of not only coming off the stinkies but also from the PG/VG infusion that's now hitting them.
Whatever you do, only buy the minimum quantity to start with. Even when you think you have found a perfect juice don't be tempted to buy a month's worth because it's a fair bet that next week you will find it unvapeable. I would aim for half a dozen different juices that become you regular favourites, and switch between them.
You will unfortunately still end up with a cupboard full of stuff that you can't vape, but you can always try and swap it in the classifieds.

Six to eight juices is what I aimed for and I'm just about there and I pretty much spend all day switching between them.

Welcome to you alistair86. As a rule I use my home brew eliquid, but recently I was lucky enough to win the whole range of WizMix flavours: www.ecigwizard.com/e-liquid/wizmix/Working my way through them, I've not had an unvapeable one yet.
