Hardly any drip-tips fit clearos - it's a damn nuisance and I wish I could find some that do. Even the nice rubbery ones have to be squeezed and twisted to get them in, and I'm sure this helps to cause cracking at the battery end. Before you say "take the clearo off the battery before fitting the drip-tip", well that weakens the plastic too > Any suggestions? EDIT - It doesn't help that the clearos themselves vary between manufacturers scylla

I found this as well Scylla and asked (on ECF) about this and the only thing you can do is to take a file to the drip tip not ideal I know, I didn't bother as am now using the Bud atomisers from Safecigs. You may find that by removing the rubber O ring it helps. I found that by forcing in the drip tip it split the tubes, so got splits at both ends!

Glad it's not just me! Yes you're right, forcing in the drip-tip splits at the puffing end. I tried filing with my crystal nail file, that's all I've got and it didn't work. scylla

Tsch ya wimps , brute force and ignorance ... seriously tho' most drip tips I use that don't have "o" rings will fit with a firm push , those with "o" rings I would recommend you remove it for a flush fit

I've never tried Clearos so can't help, Scylla. Did have to file down a drip tip for the Boge 306 cartos though.

Fit the clearo in a tank, then fit the drip tip to the tank cap. That's assuming a tank is available to fit the clearos that you are using.
Failing that, get a lathe and make your own drip tips. That's what I do. What clearos are you using? Maybe I can make a drip tip for you.

All my drip tips fit clearomisers no problem.I agree with Clockworks though, they are much better added to a tank and then you have a cap to simply click your tip into.

I've given up on my tanks (Arry and Minus) for the time being. I agree that drip-tips in those are a doddle. Ian, I'm jealous! I've got so many different D-Ts and none of them fit I'm going to simmer over this for a while cos I'm using DC clear cartos at the mo, and apart from getting the top-up quantity right they're going OK with the rubbery D-T - except that I use a neck lanyard and the rubber clings to clothes and gets pulled out easily, I've lost loads of them and the little ones that come with the packs. I know I'm a weirdo but I have to have everything just so. Thanks for the offer, Clockworks! What sort/brand of clearos do you cater for? Cos they're different diameters Or are yours ultra-flexible? That would be very good!!! Camper, I keep changing my mind about re-ordering clearos but those AP things look interesting so when I get around to ordering some I'll add on a D-T or two scylla

I only use CE2 clearos in tanks, but I can make a drip tip in any size - just need a sample clearo to work from. I normally make them from Delrin, with an o-ring.
Why have you given up on the tanks?

Very generous, Camper, in more ways than one Clockworks, I just seem to be a complete numpty with them. Every time I have to put a new clearo innards in, I get in a muddle which way to go about it, as if I've never seen one before ??? Eventually I'll be forced into it, but as I can "manage" clearos on their own (and the clear DC cartos where I can see what I'm doing) I'm sticking with them pro tem. I'm a hermit, Clockworks, so I don't go out to post things (re sample clearo). scylla
