Have seen this www.smokecloud.co.uk/accessories/misc?product_id=167Does anybody know if has a massive effect on the flavour and vape? Has anybody made their own? and if so how/what with? I won't be paying £23 for one. Somebody on the fasttech forum makes a shoddy looking disposable one out of beer cans. I was thinking of something a bit harder wearing. Maybe hardwood- I think it would be far enough away from the coil so as not to burn, or epoxy putty- the stuff I've got is heat resistant, downside is it's highly toxic. I'll do almost anything to save a few quid, but I draw the line with death I have the use of a 3D printer, but the plastic is designed to melt. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Cheers.

PTFE (Teflon to its friends) springs to mind, Phil. Or the silicone stuff they make baking sheets from. I know you can turn PTFE in a lathe... have we had this conversation before? I remember searching for PTFE rod on ebay for this very purpose...

seniorphil rather than go to all that trouble to make a reducer have you tried making the air hole slightly bigger, which you may already be aware of. Griff

+1 on cotton wool, I have it inmost of my genesis devices And it's easy, quick and cheap to do.
i would think long long and hard about putting anything toxic in there, Eliquid is a solvent!

Griff Why would you make the air hole bigger and airate the vapor even more? the reducer is there to improve flavour and adding more air will only reduce it.

I was only trying to help Griff Lol sorry if it came across harsh, i was just looking at it from a different angle. To get the most flavour you want a smallish airhole and a tiny chamber.

One of the first atties I got was a tiny Phoenix, the chamber would have probably been about the same cc as the majority of small chamber devices, now I know why I loved it so much

I love the RSST' vape, I am new to RBA's, so it's a great place to start. I couldn't help wanting the best even though I am just practicing with it. I've just jammed a wodge(for want of a better word) of cotton in there and it does seem to improve it. I shall continue dibbling and dabbling. Cheers all.
