I'm not one for much of a throat hit, I prefer having the flavours rather than throat hit. I find that after having something to eat whether it be a full meal, a snack or just a couple of chocolates or whatever, unless I have a drink before I vape I get one hell of a throat hit for several puffs until it all calms down again. This gives me a sore throat for a while. Anyone else experience this ??? or is it just me Been meaning to ask this question for ages.

I notice that the way I vape now is a million miles from how I smoked, I don't do a hard draw at all! I never inhale directly and hold vapour in mouth and slow and loose. let it slide down my throat into lungs - I don't seem to like any power in my inhale? Is how you vape likely to effect your throat toots? I too have slowly altered my juice mix down from my original 80/20 to planned 50/50 as throat hit is of no issue now I've got over the early quitting need of a whammy feeling to throat, nowadays I'd find it far too rough on my throat. Its not a sensation I wish to experience now

talking of 'questions I've been meaning to ask for ages' Am I the only recent smoke free member who's got the drippiest nose in creation?!? I'm hoping it a side effect of quitting the fags and not an allergy to pg or vg...............?

Pep I think it's the pg that causes that I had similar probs but after a couple of weeks on 50/50 they seem to have eased off

Its not a sensation I wish to experience now Only happens after eating something. I use 100% VG now so the only PG I have is in the flavour concentrate. You would have thought with that much VG in the juice it wouldn't get a big throat hit, even after eating. And no, I don't take too long a draw when vaping. I've noticed when watching reviews on YouTube that a lot of vapers take really loooooooong draws. I've tried mimicking that a couple of times, when watching them and find myself choking to death So I would say no, I don't take long draws when vaping.

Hi I had a drippy nose for about the first two weeks after quitting, could have just been a cold though!.....As for the harsh hit I only seem to get that on the first half dozen puffs in the morning.

The only problem I had when using high PG based juice was itching, and god did I itch, started off real bad in the scalp then ventured everywhere else on the body. I looked like one big massive walking spot, red blotches everywhere, scratched to buggery, was in an awful state. Must have looked like I'd got scabies Going over to 100% VG has eradicated that problem

Now that is weird, coz I don't get any harsh throat hit when I first vape in the mornings, just after eating. I have to remember to get a drink before I start to vape again after I've eaten something, even say for example one little quality street chocolate So, one of these then harsh throat hit, so have to have one of these after one of these then no harsh throat hit Weird how we all differ eh

I've just come to accept that's how it is and I have a swig of a drink before I vape after meals and it's fine. If I vape after eating anything I get a holy hell TH!
