Quite happy to smash windows and scare grannies but not one of them man enough to sign up to defend their country!

I've been on the right side of a few riots, getting bricked and petrol bombed really sucks!
It's all worth it though when the hard faced f**k*r who threw it is flat on his back crying for mummy after he's taken a baton round in the chest.
Or water cannon in winter....my favourite!

Exactly what I said, you wave a gun at the cops, don't expect too much of a future. Even chucking it from the taxi was no guarantee that, a) they'd seen it, b) they would think that was the only one, c) they'd give a stuff.
Sheet, innocents have been plugged by the polis because they seemed to be carrying a shooter. What chance an armed askhole stood, I don't know.

Imo, yes it's unfortunate he died. He was carrying and tossed it, so while he's a 'tough guy' he wasn't feeling so tough at that minute. He was unarmed and police here obviously need training to disarm vs kill. I'm all for kicking his backside to teach him a lesson, but reckon they went a bit too far.

I really don't care who he was or what he was like as a person. Not one single member of the public has any valid reason to be going anywhere in London (or anywhere else for that matter) with a shotgun in their pocket. If he decides to be that stupid, he decides to take the possible consequences. Sadly, it will now be his children who suffer for it.

I completely agree.  If you are stupid enough to carry a gun then you deserve anything and everything you get.
