Bad mix? - gravity boots required

Hey,

Okay so I took the plunge yesterday and made my very first home made juice,  I know I'm meant to leave it for a few weeks to steep but I couldn't resist just giving it a try (you have to right?).

I left it for a good 24 hours and I tried some tonight and over the last couple of hours I've been getting a light headed/dizzy feeling like I'm floating on the ceiling.

This is what I made

40% PG Nic 24mg
20% PG (It's my first time dealing with Nicotine so I wanted to be safe and thin it out I guess you could say)
30% VG
10% Menthol Flavour

Any ideas what could be making me feel like this?.  I hope I haven't mixed it wrong

Amygyx I'm going to leave the answer to this to those more experienced but it sounds waaaaay toooo much nic to me.
What was the end product you were trying to achieve? I wouldn't vape any more until someone else comes on board...I've just got up so don't trust my judgement till I've had 5 cups of tea and 2mil of nic juice

Amy, without a calc in front of me right now, I'd say your final mix was about 10%, was that what you were aiming for? Did you chain vape with your excitement do you think? What % do you normally vape?

Sounds like you've taken too much nicotine on board to me amygx.

amygx - here's your recipe using the calculator at the top of the page - don't worry about the odd % here or there, it won't make much difference to the final result

Certainly sounds like a nicotine rush to me - you might feel that way if you're used to something much lower. Some of us might experience that as a slight dip in the nicotine levels, if anything at all.

10% menthol would definitely get my attention, though. Wow.

Thanks for the replies guys. I wasn't chain vaping or anything like that I just vaped as normal.

I think the problem was probably too much menthol flavour because I switched to an orange flavour one and it didn't make my head spin like the menthol did. So hopefully it was just my stupidity in putting waaay too much flavour in to it..you live and learn

I will try different recipes with a lot LESS flavour next time.

Mixing is a bit like cooking. You can get a recipe and follow it to the letter and make something nice to eat (or vape). Or you can experiment and be creative, with a dash of this and a dollop of the other. This will lead to some duffers but it also has the potential to create something amazing!

Menthol is much stronger than other flavours, you will find that you need higher concentration of most other flavours.
