Thanks for reposting that Prof Hope you don't mind me deleting the new thread you started when this one was still locked. I only locked this thread while I was C&Ping everything over as I didn't want any new posts to get lost in between my C&P'd posts. Lol it took me longer to do than anticipated

I've already been following that thread prof as Ragjoy put a link to it in one of his posts. It's in the C&P @ post #12 ^^^^

I note that Trog also advises NOT to direct drip - TW customer services gave me similar advice to which I've since adhered. The flavour and hit from direct dripping is much nicer I agree but it's really not worth it if it causes atomizers to break. I still have all the atomizers I've ever bought (since December 5th '09) all of which are still function to varying degrees. I can't afford to throw anything away that isn't completely extinct!! This is one of a pair I bought from Trog, I think in February (still works fine): The latest atomizer I bought from TW specifically for the SDII is exactly the same. This type only works with the thick whistle tips; the original DSE901 carts are too short. Fox

If you compare Gazzas picture with Chrissie's picture - we have yet another RN atomiser model. Never seen the bottom right one with the slit before .... it just gets curiouser and curiouser ???

Yes it does get curiouser and curiouser Keef & IMHO I think it would have been nice of Trog to thank Gazza, on that thread, for alerting him to the fact that there are different 4075's kicking about as he obviously had no idea before hand.
A big thank you from me Gazza, as we do need to know about things like this.

Keef's bottom right atty looks the same as the one in my pic that also looks similar to Chrissie's top left lol. It's indistinct but mine also has a slit across.
Fox ???

Foxy, I think it's more like the one on the bottom left of Keef's pic looking like my top left pic. My pic isn't that clear I've not got that black bar going across on my 4075 atties.

The slit one is like the ones in the 5 pack i got from TW 3 weeks ago... was one of those i was using at work that night when i got a horrible burnt taste that felt like i was inhaling something burning...we thought it was maybe down to a mix of juices...remember? i was using another of those up till i started using a carto tonight, but it's been fine... SD......After reading Prof's post, i took it apart, button and all and cleaned the screw that presses against the batt, but nothing much came off that, when i put a strip of card down into the well around the atty connection tho, it picked up a fair bit of juice, even tho i'd been down there less than 15 mins before, with a paper hanky and long pinky nail... RESULT!!!! vapour nearly blew my head off....like it was when i first got it......so it has to be juice leaking in there thats been causing the problem... im getting so much vapour right now, between the SD behaving, and the carto, that im taking one puff then putting it down for a while, haven't done that for quite some time... i keep waiting for it to tail off tho....lol

hehe...yes, that was funny I even tried the emery paper thing yesterday and it didn't help, maybe try the bit of business card on yours Raggy? i did have a feeling that leaking juice was a lot to do with it, cos i was always having to wipe all the contacts and when i restricted the drops i put in the cart last night, it did help, but the card trick has made a big difference...just hope it stays that way...

Lilac WOOHOO Now we have to get Lolli sorted - tis no joke being ill and having less than perfect vaping Foxy you have the RN4075 on the left of both pics. Chrissie's atomiser on the Right is the True DSC 901 - I think !!!.

You stick the corner of the card down the side of the SD head the bit the atty screws in to between the outer edge and the grooves. That way you can get any gunk out . I still think its easier with a pipe cleaner says SHE who hardly ever cleans anything
