And..... They all work perfectly in all my mods! None of them required sanding or any adjustments at all.
I placed the order on 26th December and arrived on 13th Jan. Pretty good going from one of our 'favourite' Chinese vendors!

Have you tied it on full power with a lowish ohm atty?
Mine doesn't quite bite the mustard. Great with atty's 1.6ohm and over but somehow not quite there below that. Looks identical to the Sigelei, in fact cant really tell them apart, but the Sig just has the edge at full power somehow.

My Kayfun has a 1.5 ohm microcoil and on full power you really notice the difference... In fact, at 12W it's a bit too much for me.
It wouldn't fire my 0.8 ohm Atomic though...which is exactly what it shouldn't do! As far as I know, around 1.5 is the lowest it will work with.
The original Kick only goes to 10W and the FT one is 'supposed' to go to 12W. Are you comparing the Kick2 which fires up to 15W?

I've been using the FT kick with a 1.8ohm microcoil at around 10w - I have two, and they're doing the job just fine.

You totally missed a golden opportunity to call the thread, "We Three Kicks of Orient Are". Just saying.

No, I'm comparing it to the Sigelei, but obviously it's not that simple to compare one against the other as the adjustment on both is not exactly precise. OK they both the little marks and they are so similar as to be the same thing, in fact they may be the same thing. It just seems to be a little lower powered at the top end of the range. If I use the Sig fully turned up (10W) and then use the FT one fully turned up (12W claimed) I really cant tell any difference. If I then turn the FT Kick down to around what should be 10W it's nowhere the near the Sig. Wondered if the FT one is limiting amps at full output. I'm not really bothered as I have a couple of attys that are usually wicked at around 1.8ohms and once it's in the tube and vaping well it wont get touched again for quite a while, and I agree with the other comments that it certainly works well in that that sort of range. Wish I had way of testing them, but unfortunately I haven't, but hey, for a fiver you cant really go wrong.

I'd also be really interested in checking whether these things really provide the performance they state.
I watched the Field of Vapour YouTube review of the Cool Fire 1&2 and he had some kit to test their claim of being 8W devices. Neither were! So either his testing kit is faulty or, more likely, a lot of the claims that manufacturers claim need to be taken with a pinch of salt.

I got two which I have been using for a couple of months now..
It suits my purpose as in I adjust to taste and it's pretty consistent around the 10 watt mark and gives me a similar vape to my Zmax/TZmax set to 10 watts with the same atty. So I never bothered connecting it to a Oscilloscope to check.

Postie just been and gone.........just wondering what postage option did you choose and what was your dispatch date for shipping...? It will give me a ruff idea how long to go as I'm sure they got thousands of orders on the boxing day sale. Cheers

If yours went by Singapore Post they averaged 20 days with a max of 22 days from shipping over 10 orders since Sept 2013, I wasn't aware that they changed the free tracked shipping threshold from $15 to $20 and my kick is on the slow boat from China and I don't know how long that will take if I had to guess 4-5 weeks.
After reading this thread I'm not so eager fir it to arrive as wanted to use for 18350s with Kayfun around 1.2 ohm, have to up the res and see.

I ordered mine on Christmas Day and chose Singapore Post apparently.
The other order I placed on the same day via International Airmail still hasn't arrived although it says it was shipped on 26th December. It's all very hit and miss as to when things arrive.

I've had a kick arrive from FT yesterday (shipped out 27th Dec, Singapore Post) but it seems to be DOA - tried it in three mods, not firing in any of them. Also just tested the resistance across the terminals, and no circuit is made. I don't know what it ought to be, I've never used a kick before, but no circuit seems definitely wrong. I've opened a ticket.

I've opened a ticket. They need some power before the circuit is open, positive to the base and neg to the sprung pin on the side. Put it in a mod tube/base on top of a battery then check for volts getting through, pos to kick top and neg to mod body.

International Airmail is the "slow boat" option without tracking and can take up to 6 weeks ... My 2 kicks were despatched on the 18th Dec and I will be happy if I see them before the end of this month.
