Ethyl Maltol,it's a flavour enhancer,I use it in all my mixes,I find it helps the flavours blend better.

Interesting . . . . www.thealchemistscupboard.co.uk/product/ethyl%20maltolI find it useless as a sweetener, so as a blender it might do better. You'll have to let us know what you think Toots.

It only adds a tiny bit of sweetness to a mix, works a lot better at helping flavours to blend.

Hmmm, when I spoke to the guy at thealchemistcupboard (jeeze that's a long name) he said be very cautious with it as it's extremely sweet, only a couple of drops per 10ml he told me How much do you put in a 10ml mix to help the flavours blend bootneck and would you just add it to the mix without incorporating it within the mixing calculator, you know, after you've done the mix? Edit: Haha, I've just read your first post again and you say 1 drop per ml, but still would like to know if that is incorporated into the mixing calculator or not.

That's extra, not in the calculator, and to be honest I mix my EM concentrate using a bottle of PA crystals in 30ml pg,I've never really noticed it give any major sweetness,I know on it's own EM can be used as a candyfloss flavour but in higher percentages.
