So the OH Mini Provari has started to develop intermittent faults. E codes coming up/ miss fires Etc. As I wait for the Isopropyl Alcohol to arrive, I started thinking how long have we had the Provari?
Bought in June 2012 - Its given 18 months of outstanding service. Used every day its seen 6-8ml of juice used. Its been dropped so many times! OH suffers from Alcohol Induced Mod Dropping most weekends!
So if cleaning doesn't work - Is that a reasonable life for a Mod? Its certainly lasted longer than any other mod.
Time to replace with another Provari or is there something a bit cheaper, but just as good?

What Karma said - the provari is universally known as the benchmark that all other mods can't live up to Incidentally, you should be able to get isopropyl in most chemists. Please let us know how cleaning went - if it fixed your problems.

I've got the longun v 2.5 and for that money I will expect it to go on for a long time. I heard many good reviews prior to getting it. I have heard one shop here telling me that in all the years they've sold Provari they've only ever had 2 returned. That said, coincidently this morning my one, v 2.5 was giving off E1 readings after replacing a head in an atty. I have replaced that head and seems to be ok now.
From what I've read I would expect longer than you have gotten out of it. I also think its a matter of time before they release a new upgrade to compete with the vv/vw stuff out there. Other wise I wouldn't get another if I had to. Lets face it they ain't cheap! So their next one had better be good!

Mine is 2 & 1/2 years old and it's only body wear n tear that shows its age. No reason it won't go on for a few more years yet

I have a V1 that I bought well over a year ago 3rd hand on here. The only problem I ever had with it was resolved with a bit cleaning

Well lets hope cleaning does the job.
If it doesn't - I would say 30p a day is not bad given the hard work the OH has put it through. Would like to know if provape are bring a new model out soon.

If Provape bring out a new super duper VV/VW Proavari, I'll be picking up a good bargain on the Classified's Board as everyone tries to sell their older versions

ooh hope they hurry out and bring a new model onto the market -- I would have to make myself stalk classified section for a mini provari (and stamp violently on own hands to stop me purchasing new version)

Success. Provari is up and running and no intermittent error codes. I followed the video by pbusardo and everything is great.
