Hi martintheveg and a very warm to AAEC Understand what you're saying about wanting to see what you're going to be buying, but you are more than likely going to be severely limiting your choice and also increasing your cost. Have a look at the B&M Stores Map to see if there's anything nearby for you. As far as juice flavours go, that is a bit like a search for the holy grail. Once you have stopped the stinkies, your tastebuds will very rapidly change and what you like to begin with, you probably won't after a few weeks. My advice, don't buy too much of one flavour, buy a few different flavours from Joose Juice and stick them in the cupboard and forget about them for a few weeks as they are freshly made to order and require a fair bit of steeping time to be at their best. Good luck with your search for your start up gear and don't be afraid to ask any questions you may have, there is always someone around to help

I started doing my homework on line and liked the look of the green smoke from USA but I do not want to shop on line for this particular product even though I shop on line a lot. I then looked almost like going for the elites as they were available in the high street but then I found this site and read how expensive the tips were followed by the battery issues associated with these types Welcome martintheveg I smoked GV, CC and AL (Drum, sometimes) before quitting for Vaping. I am pleased for you that you never fell for E-Lites. Whatever site you read these comments on....I applaud them for having the guts to stand up to those bar stewards. Online is cheapest and best, but there is a growing amount of Bricks and Mortar stores, some better than others. Most people seem to vape non-tobacco flavours after a time. I enjoy tobacco types the most (although NONE taste of real tobacco), and wonder if it's because I always preferred rollies, even at school! (when was school Dave?... not recently mate....) Glad to have you on board.

WOW what a welcome from you guys, thanks a lot. As a very sociable person it,s great to be able to converse with so many people from so many different places, almost like travelling really. I am stunned at the complexity of all this paraphernalia on offer and my initial shock of actually finding a forum on such a subject has quickly waned. I probably may sound a bit boring as I am in bed now and it is my reading time for a while but instead of reading about middle east politics I am going to spend some time going through the forum. Thanks again for the welcome, and I bid you all goodnight and vappy dreams. (not a typo)

Hi again all, ok, folks,so I have been reading the site a lot and have been following the thread by newbie dhansak. now without a doubt dhansak has a lot more intelligence than me on these products and try as I do this type of thing is quite complicated for me. I have now changed tack and decided to go for a mod, I am not now bothered about holding a ciggie and would be quite happy to forgo this. I have decided to go to the my pack store on Saturday and discuss with them which product and accessories would be best for me. As price is not a major problem here for me as I have a few shillings put by for this venture I guess they will put me right and Saturday evening I should be gaping away. The one thing I think will help me is the power pack that I already have, as mentioned earlier it is a smashing bit of kit with a 11.000 may battery and three USB ports to use and I have connectors of all sizes and shapes including mini and micro USB. I,m sure I will be seeking help once I get stuck in and look forward to stopping these cursed stinkies. Good night all.

Hi Martin, I'm jealous of your upcoming trip to Myepack, I am sure you will get loads of help from them if their online service is anything to go by! I will look forward to hearing what you decide to get, a mod sounds a good plan, have fun

I started vaping 7 months ago, and am still excited about it! Vaping is fabulous, and I can honestly say that this forum has made the journey into ecigs a wonderful one. Welcome, enjoy the journey!

Hi, well i have been to meet Ash this afternoon and come out of my pack with a couple of vision spinner batteries, a box of mini protank 11 v2 clear atomizers, another atomizer with a wick and 4 trial bottles of juice. There are no instructions with the battery and before i look on the site for help i.m sure it is 5 clicks to start up and hold down to vape. Although there are some instructions with the mini protank they are not clear to me and i think it is poorly written/discribed. Now i charged the battery and it was full after around fiteen minutes and i opened the tobacco and guessed by the 10 mil contents that i was dropping in around 2mil, i put this down the sides. I put the coil unit in the middle of the tank, it does not screw in it just sits in and i wondered why it had a thread inside, so i put it inside and then i had difficulty actually threading the base on and the sticky liquid was getting on my fingers, i did not want to force anything obviously but when i did get it on and pressed the button 5 times nothing is happening, now before i go hunting on the site can anybody enlighten me as i am getting very frusrated and my wife is starting to wonder what the heck i am doing, thanks.

Hi Martin, I'm glad you got your kit sorted out from Myepack, now to your protank, you are not alone in struggling to work out how they go together the first time! Firstly screw the coil head into the base, as you've found, it won't screw onto the tank. Then turn the base and coil upside down and screw the whole thing onto your tank. Then screw the whole thing onto your battery. I guess nothing was happening because the coil wasn't in contact with the battery, try again now and let us know

Hi again, good news, i have turned the battery up to 4.3 volts and it is now giving me a vape but i think the juice has run out, the glass got a little bit hot though is this normal ?. i just wanted to have it to vape whilst i read the tutorials perhaps i,d better stop and read it first but i was dying for a smoke to be honest.
