They sent me 50 metres of kanthal stead of 30 metres. Mailed them to settle the balance and they told me no worries. I will use them again but won't be for oodles

I just use a small blob of blutack on the side of the spool - works a treat.

Yeah, I had a spool with to much on it. As soon as I took the tape off the whole thing went twang! Won't be using them again. Can't really blame them because you didn't use your loaf though lol, what did you think would happen? I've got 7 spools of wire here from them, great stuff and service is always good. Got mesh and some other bits as well. I cut slots into the sides so you can lock the wire in place. Latest batch is .5 and .6mm kanthal as well as some ribbon stuff, got some experimenting to do ha ha

I have always had something missing from my order and always something free but they need to package the order correctly before stuffing the freebies in

It was also poorly wound so the wire was all creased and crumpled. The wire was heaped out of the top higher than the sides. There was no way i could have cut a slot into it. I did manage with the other spool i got. Here are a couple of shots of the one I didn't have to throw away .25 - the .32 was the same length so more bulky. The one on the bottom is how I expect the stuff to come. On a good sized spool, neatly wound.

If you have any issues just get in touch, I always allow for a bit of error where humans are involved. My wire has always arrived in good nick with no kinks or any other issues, i would just drop them an email saying what the problem is, I think you'll find them helpful.

It wasn't an error - it was p**s poor. How anyone could think winding wire onto such a small spool is ok is beyond me. Thats a spool for cotton, not wire.

In my humble opinion, yes. That with the fact that its all crinkly. Why should i spend a few precious seconds straightening it out when it should have been packaged properly in the first place? I'm not bothered if people think its unreasonable or stupid or whatever. The pics speak for themselves. People can make their own minds up

People can make their own minds up Complaining isn't unreasonable but you should complain to them, it could be a member of staff being a dick and something they'd want to know about. They can't watch everything that gets sent out, they have to rely on their staff being decent.
