I've decided to upgrade from using CE5 clearomisers and I think i've narrowed it down to either and iclear 30s or a protank 2. I'd just like to get peoples thoughts on either of these atomisers. Or any other atomiser you would recommend cheers

Iclear 30s is dual top coil and protank 2 is single bottom coil as far as I know.
now if you enjoyed the warm vape from your ce5 which is also top coil you should like 30s, it produces better flavour and vaper.
if youd like your vape to be cooler than go for the protank 2 as bottom coils are always a cooler vape. Saying that. The protank 2 is only single foil as far as I know so vaper production wont be as much as the 30s
hope this helps sorry if any facts wrong its too early

iclear 30 imo but t- hen I prefer a warm vape
loved my protank 2 and will more than likely go back to it but when I got my 30's - great vapour and flavour I've 3 now, they do guzzle juice but worth it
as a step up to your ce4's you may like the iclear 16's they look the same but far superior
order some replacement heads from fasttech and forget about them

Both goof tanks.
Iclear warm vape, you can fill from the top. Protank cooler vape, unscrew and fill from bottom.
Iclear when coils wear out, easy to buy. But you can't rebuild.
Protank you can rebuild very easily , coil and wick to however you wish.
Me personally , I prefer my protanks.

I think you should also consider the iclear 30B, its bottom dual coil and a great piece of kit.

iClear30S. My Protanks are stuck in a drawer - I don't even bother with them.

I think you should also consider the iclear 30B, its bottom dual coil and a great piece of kit. Really? Everything I have read on them say they are terrible. As for me, I prefer the pro tank. Glass, so they don't crack with certain juices, easily recoiled, and a nice vape. Granted, you can't really get away with upping the wattage though. I never really got on with the iclear30 though. But that's just me. Many others swear by them.

Got 1 last week only problem Ive encounter is the draw became very tight after a a couple of days but sure thats down to a dodgy head, got replacements coming today along with another 30b .

Neither is perfect, but for me it's the iclear 30s. It guzzles juice and it is plastic (Innokin say it can be used with tank crackers but I haven't tried it), but the coils last ages and mine work without issues every time, even if they've been sitting in my pocket or not kept upright. For me, that's a massive win.
I had so many leaky gurgle issues with the protank that I lost patience and sold them to people who will better appreciate them. However, it is recoilable, it is glass and many people swear by them, so ymmv.

Got my first iclear 30s with Vtr,will say impressed, after last few months i was in quandry on ss wicks ,but after getting the Term C and this iclear i think i will stick on silica,if you want real warm vape ss mesh would be your best bet only prob i found after 2 tanks the juice in there gets cooked...
MyeEpack are doing replacemnet coils for all iclear 30s £1.99 or if 5 £1.75.....and they do coloured Iclear 30s

Thanks for the advice guys. I think I'm going to order both and see which one I prefer. I just need to decide what mod to go with them now.

Mod wise - magneto and a nemesis clone. Favourite mods right now. Cheap enough. Both work well with rewicked Davide/protank on low ohms. Unless you want vv. Both good mods

VTR and SOME Vendors (NOT all) send an iClear 30s with it, Robust, VV/VW 18650, but its heavy, on the other hand it will stand up on a flat surface!!

I have both, the iclear30s wins IMO.
Better flavour and more vapour production and the heads last longer.
So far no problems with banana flavour from hangsin (most realistic banana I have ever tried) I was worried it might end up cracking the tank with it but it's fine.
Oh and if your getting a mod, go for the VTR. Just make sure you get the one with the fixed 510 connector not the spinning one because mine has developed a fault where it only works if i rotate it while pressing the fire button until i hear it start to fire.
Once i have done that and as long as i don't rotate it again, it's fine.
