Am I doing it wrong?

Hi guys

I've been vaping for about a month now. I seem to be having problems with getting a good vape or even pull off every flavour I try. I've tried topping up more topping up less, new cartomizers, doing handstands but the only juice I get any flavour from is arctic cherry. Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong? I use a1100mah RIVA with Boge LR cartomizers.

The 3 things you should try are:

1. Boge dual coil cartomosers
2. CE3 "Smokymisers"
3. Budz tankomisers

I don't really understand how a tank works. And would my RIVA be sufficient for dual coils?

I've never had anything as easy to fill as a BUD, yes your Riva should be fine with the dual coils as you use 1100 mAh batteries.

Have a look on youtube for the BUDZ.

No, I wouldn't recommend it Natalie.

It would be ok with the Smokeys or Buds, but you are already using a lower resistance with the Boge.

If you are getting a good hit with the arctic cherry, it's more to do with the juices than the carrying method.

More PG can help, as can a drop or two of Vodka in the mix. Or possibly a bit higher Nic strength.

The mAh of the batteries isn't really relevant Des, it's the switch that there has been reports of problems with on the Riva, with some LR carto's (under 2 ohms).

But, Vodka is used a lot, presumably because of it's pureity, so unless someone specifically tells you that Tequilla can be used, I wouldn't.

Sounds like the tasters are in a turmoil , I could only really taste menthol juices around my 1st month of vaping. All other juice flavours tasted horrible and peppery. I got LR atties to get more flavour but the atties don't last long.

Direct dripping is another one, if you haven't tried it already Natalie. There is not much that will give you more flavour than that.

But, like Steve says, sometimes our taste buds just switch of for a while.

Try getting a passthrough and having a go at 5v vaping if you haven't already. It packs a punch and works really well with dual coils.

I still don't think you can beat a 901 atomiser/dripping for flavour Nats . . . you'd need an adapter to use with your batteries, but it could be worth a go.

Although I'd agree with the taste buds maybe playing a few tricks on you. . . . it does take time for them to settle down.

You don't say in your post but if your using the same cartomizers you started with a month ago they need to be replaced. After a time the liquid builds up on the coil reducing performance, so getting some new ones may solve the problem.
