Medical diagnosis, just need a hug please

I was on Tramadol for a good while and was high as a kite most of the time. They have since moved me on to 75mg Fentanyl skin patches which are synthetic morphines. I don't know what planet I'm on a lot of the time
Especially if the pain gets so bad I pop a Tramadol on top. I have to do it sometimes just to knock me out to sleep.
Trouble is, if I am going out socialising I have to cut it right down so I am fit to drive.

Awww thanks tracerace1 but laserboy needs it more than me right now. I got used to it.
I think it's really hard work when you first develop a disability or chronic illness as the adapting to a different way of life is hard psychologically as well as physically.

I totally agree  with all of the above=  Depression from have your life fall apart, as well as being in agony I know it so well.

But a1laserboy there is light at the end of the tunnel  we are all here for you....Rant all you want Dolly and I know the frustration, worry and confusion it causes, so if you want to offload please feel free.

I could do a fair old trade on the black market with what I have in the cupboard.

Mr Dolly told me a while back that he has to be very careful when dosing prisoners at work. A lot of them try not to swallow their meds and take them back to the cells and sell them for a lot of money. They even used to get the morphine patches and scrape off the active ingredients and smoke it!.

Just caught this thread - huge hugs for everyone who needs one and a1laserboy, that 'strong man thing' doesn't do anybody any good - you'll just end up with some sort of stress related thing as well. Therapeutic shopping always helps me feel better!! A special hug for you.

The drugs can do wonders for you my RA took hold over night and within 2 weeks i could now walk or wipe my arse to doctors up here in Scotland had me booked in a RA clinic within a week and on treatment in 2 weeks sulphalsalazine and hydroxychloroquine and methotrexate injections + Fentanyl Patches 75ml within 9 weeks i could go to the bathroom on my own.

Och oh pants. i've just got a sprained wrist (no idea how I sprained it LOL) which I've been taking arnica for that helps....(better than paracetamol )

And depression etc...that has been bad enough...

Finally feeling a live again after two days in my bed

So nice to be feeling alive - here's hoping you get the pain under control and manage to adapt...

they gave me them zeldamum I only took 1 at night I was off with the fairies....fell out of bed and increased the f***ing pain instead of relieving it..     needless to say I didn't take anymore

Oh no. I don't blame you for not taking more. Quite scary I imagine.

I remember when the vet gave them to my 14 yr old Springer turned her back into a puppy
