Vaping with a cold

I had a stinker of a cold a few weeks ago, got by with sniffing my menthol concentrate ( as I really don't like menthol in juice ) & vaping my normal fruit mixes with Koolada in. It did help that I had some Vicks Sinex to snort too! Feel better soon.

Since I started vaping I can't say I have had a proper cold. When I was a smoker and having COPD, sure as eggs are eggs I would get every bug in the air. I even ended up in hospital with pneumonia once!
I don't know why, but since vaping nothing gets past my nose. I will get the usual tingling nostrils and the odd sneeze, but it never develops beyond that. Not that I'm complaining!!

I believe that somebody does do a halls flavour e liquid._ but I can't remember who. It might be on this forum somewhere

I reckon lemsip is the best liquid . You can taste it. A tarty sharp citrus flavour.

Produces no vape, strong throat hit.

I hope you are all keeping your sniffles to yourselves!

Half of the people in the group I ran this morning were sneezing and coughing and complaining about feeling ill. Wish they'd just stayed at home with their germs

I've thankfully not had more than a tiny bit of sniffles since stopping smoking. I used to be ill all year round as I work with children.

Menthol works for me generally when taste buds are being rubbish

I've only had one full-blown cold since i gave up smoking almost 18 months ago. That one had been and gone within 4 days, not like the smoking days when I would be chesty and wheezing for a fortnight after the snot had gone - love this bit about vaping

I think most peoples health improves when they stop smoking fags. My chest and airwaves are all clear since stopping smoking the stinkes

T-juice's Affro Dizziak is good with a cold, it kind of reminds me of cough sweets anyway lol

I also haven't had a cold yet in 21 months of vaping, nor a chest infection and i was getting at least 3 or 4 a year, my family all suffered badly with flu end of last year as well but i never got so much as a sniffle, I have mainly used menthol from the get go

This is my first cold since quitting - I work surrounded by students from all over the world, so the winter is usually one cold rolled into another. So far it's not too heavy, which is a blessed relief!

I've found most flavours are coming through with the aid of some decongestant (in tablet form, not in my atty) so fingers crossed it doesn't get any worse and I'll be ok in a few days...

I have a sniffle but not a menthol fan so decided to use a mix of rasberry and a hint of vapology peppermint, however I didn't put my glasses on, got the bottles mixed up and nearly blew my head off! My tubes have never been so clear! I think I'll stick to red Astaire...
