Very true, personally I just get cans instead.

Maybe it's cos they have moved to recycled bottles, and don't have enough to make bigger bottles, either that or t southerners can't handle more than that size

284ml is like a 2/3 bottle, which is a 3rd of an old English pint, which is why the old English Belgians started beating their wives in 1758, short measures. Who can blame them? Since then it's always been served In suspiciously short glasses and tins, hence it was called wife beater cos of all the Belgians coming over here, beating our wives.

Owing to the Belgian stigma, and them not being proper europeans the custom was adopted in the United Kingdom of England, before they all closed due to the Tories. Which just goes to prove, all Tories are Belgian wife beaters.
