Guys, made my daughter some juice, didn't have any vodka so put neat vg in. Its 100ml of juice with 40ml vg. She says it's not wicking so how much vodka should I tell her to add to it please ?

I'm mixing with quite a lot of boots VG straight and it vapes superb, wicks no problem at all and it's pretty thick. It works fine in the aspire, the iclear and the wife's new evod with whatever it came with.

Mini protank and just gave her a protank 3. I used the boots vg and It did look a little thick but I thought I might get away with it. I was thinking of using 5% vodka (2ml) will this be enough do you think.

Mine is like 54ml of VG if I was making 100ml, it vapes absolutely fine, vapes really good in fact. I'm using a 72mg nic base so even making it like 20-22mg strength it still takes a fair whack of VG.
You could try thinning it but I don't see why that would be the problem based on my own experience.
Don't know how much you'd need to add either.

Thats strange that it's not wicking properly in a bottom coil, could it be more to do with her vaping style Balllsy? Anyway, yes, start at 5% vodka and see if it makes a difference, she can always add another 5%. Obviously it will reduce the flavour a tad, but shouldn't be too noticeable.  |

I use VG Nic and Boots VG (the thick one...the VG, not me) so sure to my flavourings, I end up with 70/30 VG/PG, I never have wicking problems.

She's relatively new to vaping and I am too far away to "pop over" and fix. I was there yesterday and it was thick but did wick. I'll use the easy solution for now and get her to thin it down.. Next time i am there I'll make sure she's doing it properly. Last thing i want is her giving up on it and smoking. She's been off the fags for a week now !

Well I've just put 5ml vodka and 2ml flavour in a 100ml bottle and a syringe and mixing needle in an envelope so will post them to her and she will have to decant her juice back into bottles. Thanks for the advice all.
