I just recieved replacement dual coils for the Innokin 30s. Previously I had only bought the whole 30s unit. They are both rated 2.1 Ohms. When I started using these coils all 5 of them really snap when Im powering up, the previous coils that came with the 30s tanks, boiled slightly but there wasnt the same snappy crackling that these are all doing. The settings on my battery are the same and I have switched back to the 30s I was using yesterday and experienced none of this snapping noise. They have the same Ohms rating and are used with the same battery, so I dont understand the difference in the sound coming out. I did read another thread here that talked about the gurgling sounds and it was suggested not to tighten too tightly, but this hasnt helped with this problem, I have also reduced the voltage from 4.6 to 3.7 and its still giving a real snappy crackle, there is no burnt taste, although certainly the first few drags were terribly "burnt" tasting. Can anyone advise, or is this just something thats seen as normal? I have the Innokin v3 vv and have had 4 30s complete tanks previous to this, without experiencing anything like this noise. Thanks in advance

New Innokin coils definitely snap for a while - any burnt taste is likely because you were impatient between filling and firing it up.
