So far its the mix I'm most happy with, hits with a proper punch even when all my other flavours have turned bland because of vapers tongue!
Simple recipe... 20% Joosejuice Keylime 3% Joosejuice menthol mixed at 60:40 PG:VG
It is better in the dripper but still works in a protank mini.
You can only just tell it has menthol in it on exhale but that works for me and the lime is quite sharp, very refreshing. The two flavours definitely compliment each other and other % combinations may work better for you depending on your vaping setup.
Keylime in conc and in mix seems to settle out so give it a good shake(Jim at joosejuice mentions this on his site anyhow).
Needs two weeks for the flavour to steep otherwise tastes more like mojito to me.

Thought might be a bit too simple.

Simple is good I reckon . . . the number of new mixers we have, looking for ' one stop ' recipes - might even be an idea to have a dedicated thread with them on?

I'm not too adventurous so far, basically straight one stop or with some menthol!
Though might try using red Astaire as a ingredient rather than one stop once get some more conc, reckon it would work with apple.

This is the worst its been for me, since I started vaping ...its driving me barmy! I was taking for granted my delicious mixes then - out of nowhere, BOOM. Tried brushing my teeth a million times, mouthwash....no joy. Just on a menthol 'n' blackcurrant at the mo' and I can sort of taste it.

Menthol is the key to tasting with the dreaded rubber tounge I reckon.

Thanks boyofford. I was thinking it could be helpful to point new mixers to and for any novices just browsing the recipe section. Andy is very busy I know, I don't have the technical skills to format the recipes . . . though I can copy and add some of the standalone recipes we currently have posted. Is there anyone who would be kind enough to take this forum project on I wonder?

Although I knew that, PG dehydrates you and you are suppose to drink plenty - The vapour in your throat/mouth, absorbs the moisture creating a ''film'' which in turn, affects your taste-buds, somewhat. www.ecblendflavorshop.com/helpdesk/knowledgebase.php?article=1So, today I've drank a well full, and as if by magic!....I can taste my juice again.

Nothing works for me, apart from strong menthol, so this keylime recipe may be a saviour. I thought it was an early days thing, but no- every so often I can taste nothing, well yes I can taste something but it is not exactly pleasant. Strong menthol sorts it out- but this keylime added sounds good.

Same here, though I think water does help as stonethecrows says, but once its happened its too late for me it seems! even with water I have to wait a day or two. Straight menthol I can still taste unlike much else, even red astaire tastes unpleasnt at these times and thats a strong flavour. My taste buds are returning now but keylime/menthol is worth a try if your mixing, works for me and pretty cheap for conc. Just ran out of keylime conc though today myself, next purchase from joosejuice will either be 30ml(giving 60ml with bogof) of keylime conc or loads of 10ml bottles of it as postage might be cheaper that way so cheaper overall.

Red Astaire actually makes it worse for me, I get a horrible dog food taste- not that I have had dog food lol. It happens to me when I keep switching flavours, if I stay on just a couple I am ok. Menthol (strong ) is good, but it is good to have something else as well.

I'm always switching, can't stick with a flavour more than half a day. Red astaire develops a really disgusting taste when it happens, can't really decide what it is but I don't like it!
I used to carry 4 protank minis with various flavours, some of which I found plain anyhow.
Now take a mod and mvp with two rdas and pocket full of eliquids, much easier.
Plain menthol is strong and I can taste it with vapers tounge, I just find it boring though.
If your mixing get a bottle of keylime conc and their. If not then get a bottle of there premixed keylime and menthol and just combine a little of menthol in your clearo/rba/rda to suit... thats how I found I liked this combo pre me starting mixing. Though tastes better if let the flavours steep together for couple of weeks I think anyhow.
