SVD issues

Hi all,

I received my SVD just over a week ago and really like it. The problem I have been having is with the 'fire' button. It seems a bit temperamental and sometimes needs a bit of fiddling before it works. Other times it works 1st time like a dream. 

Has anyone else had similar issues with the SVD.  Is this common or is it more likely to be faulty and should I be speaking to Myepack about it?

I had the same with mine and sent it back for a refund, but I gt mine from Fasttech.

It can be a bit temperamental at times. Sometimes, if I catch the button slightly off-centre a few times, it will switch itself off ( due to the 3 click on/off feature). Pressed in the centre, it never fails. Takes a bit of getting used to but, once you get over that annoying glitch, its a pretty good work horse. I love it in 18500 mode.

Send it back for replacement

Just been playing with mine pressing the button in different ways, only time it didnt fire is when button had just been pressed and immediately pressed again after light faded. Other than that no problems

Also the svd will not fire whilst the screen is still on, so if you have just made an adjustment to vv vw then wait for screen to go off then fire

Mine's been perfect, only time it doesn't fire is if you catch one of the little buttons either side which lights up the screen and then it wont fire as mentioned above.

Hi tonyp,have had mine 4 days now,and I love it,no problems with the fire button,but it seems to use a lot of battery.

No issues with mine. Send it back for replacement while you can.

Mine is inclined to turn itself off when the battery gets low. If i was sending one back, I might be inclined to ask for a vamo instead.
