roughly crushed up some fennel seeds added some pg left it for 4 days, filterd the mix with 4 kitchen towls folded over 4-5 times then filterd it with some muslin folded over 3 times the mix that is left has a green tint to it kind of looks a bit like wee, it has been sitting in top of my bread bin all day and hasnt seperated, i pourd some of the concentrate into a bit of water to see if there was oil from the fennel wich would be visible in the water pg mix, and there seems to be no oil you can just see the pg in the bottom of the glass so i think it was a sucsess maybe i hope i have took pics to show and will update when i have a mix and have a vape i don no if this makes a diffrence either i just done a little experiment with some sunflower oil and it floats to the top of the water and then added sunflower oil to some pg mixed that up and pourd that into some water and the sunflower oil sperated into small almost droplets at the top of the water, not the same as what happend to the fennle seed pg. will post back after i have tried it let you know how it tastes

have you had a taste?
I made a concentrate with wild hops a few months ago which turned out quite well - not the strongest flavour, but distinctive, and afaik unique. I've since done a peppermint, too, that didn't come out strong enough, so I started a new batch of mint leaves and steeped those in the previous batch, which bumped up the potency somewhat. More to come: cardamom, lemon grass, pimento...

no not yet will be later on, the cardamon and lemon grass ones sound great could make some really interesting blends with those two, am thinking of a black pepper concentrate to go with a strawberry next

I steeped half a scotch bonnet chili pepper last year, and after a few alarming mis-steps, ended up with a very nice super-concentrate. One drop in 10mls does the trick.

A couple of other things you might try with this:
If you haven't already done so, you could throw your first batch into the second one, and give it a head start.
Microwave the mixture for a few seconds - but only a few seconds, like 10sec maximum! This stuff gets hot really quickly - and give the mixture a good shake every day, or every time you go past it.
Weeks of steeping might be overkill, but with seeds it's unlikely to do any harm. If you're doing fresh ingredients, though, especially anything green, don't leave them steeping more than about 3-4 days, or you'll start to get a cabbage flavour - and nobody wants that.
I have sampled an asparagus concentrate, which was unspeakably vile. Never. Again.
