It's about time I bought a new battery, my Riva 1100s have been on the go for over 2 months now so I guess I can expect them to conk out at some point in the not too distant future.
So here's a question, should I go for the same again, go for Joye 1000mAh batteries which I believe have a regulated output but are a bit more expensive or should I go for something else, perhaps something beefier (although I don't want anything too massive)?
Any suggestions?

Check out the eGo 1000mAH PassThrough on Liberty Flights, you charge it through the USB and can vape while charging. When it's charged just unplug the cord, screw on the end cap and it works just like a regular 1000mAH battery.

Thanks BardicDruid, that sounds worth thinking about - do the eGo batteries tend to last longer than the Rivas or abot the same?

There was a problem some months back with the Riva batteries Rog, I'd imagine they're resolved now, although wouldn't be sure.
The Mah choices on the Ego/Tornado do give you a greater choice on run time though.

...unless you'd like to spend a bit more and go for a "battery holder" type model, like a Megalodon or a Screwdriver, and there are others to investigate. With those, your initial outlay will be high but the PV should last you years and the batteries are very cheap, by comparison to "all in ones", to replace. The SD Mk1 takes 3.7v 16340, the MkII similar, and the Don takes 2-3 different ones (can't remember exactly) and can either take a very long-lasting 18650 or reduced in size to take a smaller battery if you want a discreet vape Just an idea to add to options, if you are going to have to restock anyway. I'm not addressing the Riva/Ego etc because I don't have any experience with 1000+ ones. scylla

Thanks perpetua and Scylla Not sure I like the possibility of there being potential problems with the Rivas perpetua I was actually just looking at the Megalodon which seems potentially like a good alternative option, especially if I'm going to be spending something around £30 for a couple of new batteries and I can save in the long term by using the cheaper batteries that fit in a device like this - I also like the flexibility it offers too but can you vary the voltage? Seems to be out of stock at Mojo Republic at the moment though, can it be bought elsewhere or would I have to wait for new stock to come in? What other options are there in the Megaladon price range (or less) and anyone got any particular recommendations?

The Megalodon isn't a variable Voltage (though I think there is going to be an update for it sometime). However, you can use 5v batteries in it, or just use lower resistance atties with 3.7v batteries. Rog, what about the Cube, it's a good price - www.siam-mods.com/mods

Thanks Chrissie, I see the VV update will be backwards compatible so probably worth getting one and then adding the update as and when it comes out - have contacted Mojo (is it Tim?) to ask when they'll have them back in stock.
I like the option of having a smaller version with the Don I have to say so think I'd rather go for that than say The Cube - the Don also seems to get a lot of positive feedback!

Does anyone know who the cheapest supplier of replacement batteries is please? The average price I've seen seems to be around £8.49 for a 510. It's not that I'm tight or anything, it's because my hubby and myself are both unemployed ATM and we have to watch the pennies. Thank you. Anne x
