I'm not sure on manufacture but good choice I think, I also bought from hightec but the solid ss one and from the pictures and packaging the two hightec ones look different packaging. If I was buying another clone I would go to hightec, I've found the Tobeco ones don't vape anywhere near as well as the hightec one I bought and I believe, having inspected all 3 tobeco clones the juice channels are poorly machined causing the problem. Yet to compare to the hightech channels but I will. Ill try dremmeling the tobeco channels but if anyone is considering a KFL clone I would suggest hightectrading would be the better option, yo never know though mybe I got a good one but I know at least another member is pleased with their SS hightec unit. Any way I'm now sold on the design so Svoemesto next Thanks for the reply mate. I rang Steve from Hightectrading earlier and he said none of his are made by Tobeco. He said he had them previously but had some trouble with complaints. However, he wasn't sure who the manufacturer was on the ones he sells now but assured me that they are very high quality clones. Yep you live and learn mate, maybe I was unlucky with the tobeco ones but I did buy three ( as Steve was out stock) so that's truly unlucky Just posting my thoughts so others can make an informed decision giving I started this thread. Maybe others are having better luck but wicking and vapour production is pretty poor and I wouldn't know any better had I not had the hightec to compare lie for like so to speak

It's really frustrating when just want an atty to work properly. You know you've set it up correctly, but it just doesn't perform how it should. Hopefully the one I've ordered from Hightectrading will have no issues, fingers crossed.

If anyone is having any issues with the wire screws being a bit temperamental in gripping the wires, as I have found, get some of these: M1.6 x 3mm socket cap screws They grip the wire fantastically first go. Makes replacing the coil even easier Postie delivered a pack of ten of these today. Unbelievable the difference they make, I even changed screws on a coil already installed & they gripped no problem

Was the one you got from Hightectrading ok with 0.3 kanthal? From memory I think probably not but no issues with any of then using 0.25 with a steady hand. These screws are only about £2 for 30 or £1.50 for ten, something line that and free postage so get your order in, I ordered at the weekend and they came today, what you waiting for Just checked receipt - £1.70 for 30

Oh guys , just a thought if mine does die, ie wicking issues, threads, I'm going to just keep the base and the chimney bits and use it for dripping.

Tested screws this morning with a strip of wire but just made a 1.1ohms Mc this minute and I will have to say wow. Tobeco Kayfun lite/russian kicks ass. Cheers Cornersruns for the link and thanks Greg for starting the thread.
Happy days.

Does sound good news on the screws? ordered mine today as the screws on my kayfun are pant's Also ordered one of these. Nice set of o rings, ok you can get them from fasttech if you want to wait 5 days plus to have them shipped, then put another 20 days on top of that. no chance Heres the link if anyone is interested........http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/225-Piece-O-Ring-Assortment-In-Case-Rubber-Washer-Seals-Plumbing-Car-Vehicle-/230936603064?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item35c4e4e9b8 Cheers....Rick

Ok another update, I stripped one of these down and spent a little time making both vertical juice channels a little deeper with a small round needle file, just enough so you can see the semi circle juice channel profile clearly when looking down from directly above. Took a little time as its slow work and you have little room to draw the file back and forth. Rewicked with cw and in with the custard and a vast improvement with wicking and vapour production. All is not lost, bit early to say all is sorted just yet but a definitely a step in the right direction I've also ditched the fill oring on my hightec and not fitted any to these and no signs of a leak to date, just nip the screw up well, I found the oring prevented nipping up the screw tight and caused the atty not to fit flush on my nemesis. Oh changed out the existing screws for the cap heads on the existing coil one at a time and they are perfect Another bonus is the supplied Allen key is the right size for the new screws

Great thread this guy's, very informative to us lot new to rebuilding attys, I'm glad I got the high tech trading version as it's a cracking vape, the only problem Iget is a slight leak from the air hole which I can't figure out, other than that it's a really good way to learn rbas, with a lot of help from people on this forum

I'm now holding off to see what the outcome is between the hightec and tobeco clones. I'll just go micro coil my AGI in the meantime although today I've hit that tasteless thing I've read about. Just got another 60ml of caramel too.

Vape quality between this one and my ehpro one is very close. The only time either of them have failed to deliver is either a bad wick or when I accidently unscrewed the tank and must have loosened the chimney. So I'mstill very happy with mine.
I think the ehpro has a better finish but that only affects the looks and I prefer the air adjuster on the base of the ehpro again just for the aesthetics.
I use both at work worn in a holster on my belt. I am pretty active working working for ambulance and neither leak.
Glad you guys like the screws, I got spare filler screws from them as well.
If you can measure the size of the o rings you want look for Sealforce on eBay. Good service from them as well.

This loosened the chimney and this allowed juice into the combustion chamber. So check your chimney is tight. The only other things I can think of is airflow too tight or covering the airhole as you draw causing too much low pressure in the tank and flooding the combustion chamber.
