I've not been a real footie fan for many a year, since the money came in... but the latest news has just had a physical effect on me!
Wayne Rooney's new contract... £300k per week for 5 years!
Don't get me wrong, I've no love of politicians either, but at least they have the power to take us to war, or manipulate our state of living, and can be thrown out at elections... yet they are sidelined to a ***** who performs at about 5% of the time.
What the hell is going on in this world. People being killed in the Ukraine fighting for a better life... is this the sort of 'fair' life they seek? 'Out of the frying pan into the fire' springs to mind.
Sorry for the rant, but this has incensed me so much!

fully understand you - and it's great that we can rant here - and this salary is still less than the salary of some CEOs of the top companies - which makes my blood boil - cause at the end of the day they are also 'just' employees - I have no problems if somebody out of his own doing earns loads and loads of money - but to see a CEO earn I don't know what exactly -  - their work is not million times better than the work of other employees - oh gosh - just noticed I joined your rant |

Mediocre Striker getting past prime transfer plus wages =£35 mil
What REALLLLLLL gets my goat about it,is all these clubs have an arrangement in Tax that players wages/Debt come first and they have to pay a min 1% per annum,was a big row about it yrs ago
