Protected batteries

Got my first mech mod yesterday so need to order some batteries for it.
What are the best batts (known branded make)  to get at the best price?
I need protected for the mod.

hello mate

i made a post about this a while ago and got told if you was stack for if not you shoud go for Efest as they was ment ot of been the most well knowen

batteries are my downfall :-/I'm still trying to work it out!

For protected I always go for efest ( the red ones) as they are cheap but reliable. I know I did some price comparisons recently and ended up buying efest from myepack because he was the cheapest (even including postage cost)  If you are after 650 size then you can get from Torchy on ebay. 

I know I was after protected 14500 recently and found them from Torchy. His name on there is 'big_f_d_d'


Ignore me, you need 'aw imr' where possible for a non electric mod. (the red efest are unprotected and used in evic/provari etc <ones with electrics to protect battery) You need 'aw imr' OR the efest black and gold as they ARE protected

I've seen some yellow efest that are protected, I thought the red ones were unprotected but it wouldn't be the first time I was totally wrong if I am

i was advised with a mech to use aw imrs, but depends what kind of coils your using but sure somone will be along with more know how then me

mate if i am onist i have no clue i needed them for stacking and there was a few people who told me to get them ones as they was the best i dont know about being unprotected i will tag steve and Frogster (The Alchemist) and Roscopecotrain and at Super-Shiny they will know and help you more as im not sure as it was my first mod

Found some protected Efests 18350 and 18650s on Vapeescape.
May not be the best price but can't fault their service

Need to buy a normal 18650 for the Evic at some point but hardly ever use it so no big rush.

no, you are spot on! Its me that got confused by reading post between us instead of focussing on which of mine are which. Its definately red efest unprotected. Black and gold = protected 

now they brought out purple efest ....  and I dont know wtf they are.....

teethcv actually I wouldn't panic straight off! (as far as I can recall) that 'aw imr' batteries are NOT a brand they are a standard, so batteries have to go through a list of tests and if they pass they get 'aw imr' grading. In general they can be sanyo, panasonic, etc
