The ban - questions

Yep, 2 days then I change it - shop bought from England.

I get 3 days max from any coil that has custard through it, nature of the beast

Sweeter juices do gunk up coils sammy13 but with a bit cleaning etc you should be able to get a bit longer out of them

Thank goodness it's not just me, I know I'm odd but I was starting to get paranoid everyone else gets much longer than me

I tried cleaning them in the early days, but it just didn't work, dry burning I think I burnt it, washing it tasted of nothing, so I now try to buy in bulk when they are on offer, and just change them, plus I do give them away to a good home so they are getting re-used.
I think I must have a really sensitive throat- strange thing to say I know but I get a sore throat with high pg, and if my coils are not changed, or new. I've never had so many sore throats lol.
Basically I think something in vaping doesn't like my throat, but rather than give up vaping I found a more expensive way around it.
It's not dehydration I drink enough coffee throughout the day that's my other expensive hobby, at least 20 mugs throughout the day.

Perhaps worth getting an ultrasound cleaner? TBH I don't dry burn. Either an overnight soak in steradent then rinse for a few rounds in the ultrasonic with half a steradent then a rinse through in it with plain water. Leave to dry out on a radiator, good to go again for another wee while

sammy13 the silver bullet is a mechanical mod that takes 18650 batteries. Only thing that's liable to go is the button. I think ivapourelixir has them

As for your protank coils. Yeah sounds about right. Now I microcoil I get about 2-3 weeks out of them - don't think you're strange

Well, we are not as energetic as the French or as stubborn as the Poles, but we have qualities of our own, like being able to create things with machinery, battery holders for torches, say, or moisturizers for vocal chords...

Unfortunately most vapers in Germany neither know of nor care about the legislation, or they don't think it will actually happen or be enforced.

Our government doesn't have a clear stance on the issue. I think they are just waiting it out, Merkel style.

We do have a couple of liquid vendors who actually have their liquid developed and produced by pharmaceutical companies, so whatever the actual regulation may be, they will be able to conform. So 20mg liquid in 10ml bottles will be available.
Many vendors started to drop their max strength down to 18mg, some even to 10mg, because of a quirky ministry in one of our states (Niedersachsen) and the Chemikalienverbotsverordnung (chemical agents prohibition act).

But then again, we have vendors who recently started selling 54 and 72.

I used steradent once and I could taste it.
Funny cos I have trouble tasting flavours at 20%  I told you I was odd.

Washing out in plain water then leaving and trying again, I don't know how to describe -  it was like dry cotton wool flavour with a hint of my juice, does that make sense ???

So it's not banned in Germany??
I was talking about it today to someone who really didn't know or want to know, but I needed to talk about it - like why now in America, and I don't remember which state but you will all know what I mean - shops have been opened to purchase maru - can't spell ( grass ) , legally yet vaping is getting banned.
It doesn't make sense.
I also mentioned that I had read it was banned somewhere in Europe, but I don't recall where.
It's not France, it's not Germany- where is it?

sammy13 - have you never considered buying a cheap rebuildable tank clone, say a kayfun, and getting some experience of recoiling using the excellent guides that Super-Shiny has produced? It really isn't hard and once you get the hang of it all you need is Kanthal wire and either silica wick or cotton wool and you are self-sufficient in coils. Wire and cotton wool are also things that can't be banned.

No seriously I have my reasons and recoiling is not an option for me unfortunately, at all.

No, vaping is not banned in Germany. We have won several court cases against our own governments (as a federation we have many, too many of them) - the last one just a couple of days ago - a state health ministry was "of the opinion" that vaping fell under the nonsmoker protection laws and thus was generally prohibited in pubs/bars and other places. A pub owner went to court when the local Ordnungsamt (think magistrate) fined him and won the case - and the judge verbally slapped the ministry (and the city of Cologne) senseless.

We have other court rulings that make unmistakebly clear that vaping can not be medicinal under current law.

Our customs has been trying for yeas to hinder import of vaping stuff, sometimes quite illegally - but they can't do much against a person, a lathe and a rod of steel - and many of them - and quite a number of police officers - are vapers themselves.

But this EU regulation will change a lot of that, because it creates a legal base for our politicians to base prohibition on - I am sure they will try banning vaping again when it is adopted.

though I boinged the spring off it and spent 2 days searching ......   found it under the cd cupboard finally! but thats a replaceable part and the mod quality makes the VTR look flimsy  *cheer*I don't really use it much, its more a prospective buy as I say, with ready made coils my eVic and mini provari and VTR (and itaste vv's) provide a better vape....but if I coiled - it could become a beast!
