Lilac, I was also wondering if Lolli's SD problems was due to juice mucking up the contacts.

The funny thing is tho, i did stick a paper hanky in there regularly, and it made no difference till i tried the business card (well, a torn off bit of one) maybe the pipe cleaners would do the same job, as suggested by Keef, i havent got around to buying any yet

Evening to ((((all of you ladies)))) Lilacikins , that's such a kind offer I'll get the atties where Lynda suggested, or Scyllas place if they're out of stock. That's not the place you all had dodgy atties from is it?? Where's the cheapest/best place to get the Tornado, if I go ahead? If there are 2 kinds (traditional/new) of 901 atties which do I get ??? Is the Tornado a battery & a holder thing as well ??? & will I need another charger? or adapter? Whew!!! Just applied lavender (use it as insect repellent) - never heard of it for burns before - brilliant advice! Op recovery is back on track at last so am slowly catching up on everything - including work - which at least I can do from home. Puppy pic is gorgeous - I shall take a pic myself soon & post for you to see (she's fussy - chews up telephone wires, dog flaps, garden lighting & high heeled shoes only!)

Puppy........ chews up telephone wires, dog flaps, garden lighting & high heeled shoes only!) Oh yes! I'm sure I've posted before how I had to wear chewed up black patent courts to work cos they were the only "office" shoes I could walk in. And my naughty puppy also chewed up the mattress of a very beautiful vintage divan bed I'd just had given to me. Stuffing all over the floor of the spare room I'm so pleased the lavender is helping, Lolli - I can't advise on the Tornado cos it's outside my realm scylla x

Tornados are from Totally Wicked - five packs are good value working out with discount under £10.00 each but on their own they are about £15.00. Very good though. However, their atties are not so good. You need an adapter for your charger £2.99. Has anyone tried their screwdriver it has a discount at the mo?

Raggy, that offer on TW is for SD mk2s isn't it?
I'm going to order it soon, it's a good price for what you get.
Pixie, My SD2 from TW has been flawless for a month now, much better than the SD1's I had. The batteries last for ages with no drop off, estimate about 7-8 hours. If you're in the market for a dedicated 901 device, its definitely a good buy.
