That sounds like a short circuit.
Most often caused by a dodgy atty or over tightening/twisting of an atty.
But to have 6 of them ???

R&R Trying. It's a mystery this isn't it Jason . . . little parcel is on it's way to Trying so we'll see how the Cartomiser's fare. They're well filled Trying, so don't be alarmed if there's a little juice seepage in the condom end, just remember to keep them wet, but not drowned and you'll be fine.

Hi Trying - I feel for you I really do - as Jason and Kev will testify I've pinged more than a few batteries.
After the last time it happened I switched to a mechanical to alleviate the problem - seemingly a costly option, but in reality it's got to be the cheaper way to go.
I don't want to confuse the issue for you, but if your financials will stretch then it's an option worthy of serious consideration.

Thank you so much Perpetua. Have been looking at the Tornado on video but no sure how different they are but I quite like the idea of the cartomiser especially the clear ones so I can see how much fluid is in it. Bit worried about the condom??? but I think I know now you mean the cap? It would take a bit of explaining to my other half and him getting the wrong idea. I'm really looking forward to trying this out, hoping this works for me and I don't mind paying out for more expensive kit as long as I am confident that it will last or can I really be that unlucky.

Thanks Andy I'm glad I am not the only one!
I take it that when you say mechanical you mean the manual ones - i.e. push the button.

Thanks Andy I'm glad I am not the only one! I take it that when you say mechanical you mean the manual ones - i.e. push the button. He means a mod , Something that has no electronics, just a battery and a simple switch- bugga all to go wrong with them.

Hi Perpetua Yeah I got the parcel - thank you so much. I think I will have to look at the videos again as I am very nervous!

Hi Chrissie, Perpetua has kindly sent quite a selection of cartomisers. I'm confused as I thought I would start with the small clearomizer which she has filled. Looked at the video on totally wicked and the black round circle is pushed further down and you just attach the mouth piece. But on the one she has sent me the black bit is flush with the end of the clearomiser?? am I to push this down further?

I'm not 100% sure what you mean Trying as I've not had any black bits on my cartomisers But I'm guessing you mean the plastic bung with a hole in the middle? If so, just remove it & replace it with either a drip tip or a mouth piece without any stuffing inside it.

Should add, easiest way to remove it is with a paper clip

As Chris has said Trying . . . remove the bung on the clearomiser and insert the drip tip . . . all the cartomiser's are filled as well, so just remove the white bungs, insert a drip tip and you're good to go.
