If you click the more postage options, there are a variety of different options with a variety of different prices. It used to be worth it because China Post was the default option, and it was somewhat unreliable on occasions.
Since they changed to Singapore post as the default, I wouldn't choose anything else - I recently paid extra for Sweden Post and raced two parcels, one with Singapore and one with Sweden. Singapore won by 5 days.

If you buy batteries, then Malaysia Post is the only option . . . I bought some battery extenders ( all plastic ) and they still had to go via that. ??? So I bought some batteries as well.

How long did your batteries take to get here? Tracking on mine says they were sent to London yesterday. That's 12 days from ordering and 10 since dispatch. Hopefully will get them this week sometime.

Haven't received my order yet Erik, it was just dispatched on the 21st Feb. Haven't checked the tracking either, I never bother with that complication. I'll know when the postie puts the card through the door for collection, as I always seem to be out when anything is delivered.

Yep Sod's law that is. It seems malaysia post is hot or miss though. Sometimes 2 weeks and sometimes considerably longer. It's the shiny new mod that's with the batteries I really want so hopefully soon

Is that all batteries or just torch like batteries? Does that make sense? In other words , can say a spinner style etc come normal Singapore post?

They do usually. Either cancel the item that isn`t ready to ship and then re-order that on a separate order so other item/s go to waiting to be packaged and then packaging. Or put a ticket in asking FT to split the order, which sometimes has the effect that the item you waiting for suddenly being ready to ship.

I always ask them to split if they've changed the goal posts on anything in the order. As Griff said, it sometimes speeds things up too.
