Shelf life for batteries should be over 2 years as long as you store them with a part charge not full or empty and some where cool.
Atomisers I never thought about but as long as the wick is moist when you start using it then there is no reason why it will go off.
I have used them when they have been lying for over 9 months.
They die or I should say stop giving good hit because of all the gunk that builds up on the coil when you are vaping not because of their age.

Yes according to Dekang, shelf life for e-liquid is 2 years.
Completely agrees with James, buying a passthrough is a must IMHO. Especially if you go for something like the Garry Dibly PS No batteries needed & if you buy a good (at least) 2amp) hub, you will get a really good 5v from it.
Re atomisers, as Keef says, I can only presume that if you aren't using them, they should be OK to keep.

I have seen quotes of 18months shelf life for Dekang from suppliers on the ECF - Cash PureSmoker being one, but dont know if they are just covering them selves.
I also dont know if it is the nicotine that has the 18month /2 year shelf life or if it is the PG .

Thank you for the links Chrissie.
I also see a supplier agrees with my theory about atomisers in a round about way. So many people report rank tasting primer in the atomiser and they think it is the type of liquid used . I think the liquid has gone off as it is not in an airtight container and I doubt sellers keep them in a refrigerated unit ,so they can easily be left lying for months at the wrong temperature.

Not that atties are likely to be banned, but if we stocked up and kept them in a fridge, might condensation form and some metal components rust? I know (think) that the main body is stainless steel, but... ???

I've heard that the hardware may be banned also but how true that is I don't know. There was some 'Net chatter that all electrically powered atomizers may be banned but where does that leave those who need atomizers for medical reasons? I supposed they could all be lumped as 'medical products' and obtainable on prescription only! Heaven forefend! Nothing would surprise me about those who hold the power over us mere taxpayers. Fox

Good point Scylla, re the possibility of condensation causing rust if storing atties in a fridge. Think it might be best just to store them elsewhere & blow out the primer as much as possible.
Foxy, I may be wrong, but I just can't see how they could stop us getting the atties from China.

By hook or By Crook I have this nagging feeling that there will still be plenty about for a long time .
