A possible idea?

There seem to be a lot of us just taking up mixing, and standalone flavours are getting more popular.

I was wondering if it would be possible/ a good idea to have a thread dedicated to percentages used for standalone flavours.

A bit like the recipes.
Not a discussion thread or I made this but its not right so I will try this, just tried and tested flavours that people have made, vaped and had success with.

For example I may write -

Cap apple pie - 20%
Cap banana - 12%
Ina lemon 10%

if each person just posts like this it would be somewhere for us all to look .
I know taste is subjective but it would give a guideline.

Just an idea.

I think that's a really good idea sammy13 then we all have a starting point and can tweak as necessary

If you'd like to start one, sammy13, not a problem & it can be cleaned up as it goes along or the info can be gathered from it & put in one locked post that can be added to as the list grows.

What with all the 28vapeslater concentrates we have all brought?
2-3 weeks from now? could be a load going up.
And as otter said? good to include steeping times.

Ok folks, I've started a thread in mixology general.
Mods if you want to change the title, or move it go ahead I wasn't sure on both counts.
I'm still waiting for most of my concentrates , and have others steeping, so I haven't got much info to offer just now, but I'm hoping everyone will join in.
I have used the german spreadsheet, and roms and one that pep sent me, and I have a long list of percentages, but somehow everything I buy isn't on it
Also I'm never sure if those percentages are as standalones or in a recipe, so with luck this new thread will take off.

I've been doing all my mixes using Inawera concentrates at 10%. Does anyone know if this is because Inawera are particularly strong? Or am I just a cheapskate?

They are quite strong vigowomble, more so than some of the other ranges.


I've added a locked/stickied thread on the Concentrates Review Board sammy13, which seems the most appropriate place for it.

Thanks Perpetua. I saw all those others being mixes at 20%, 25% and thought there was something wrong with me . That table will certainly come in useful when I start on other ranges.
