What sort of kit would you recommend taking on hols? I'm thinking of a greek island beach sort of holiday for a couple of weeks - at our age that means swimming, eating and lying about - not clubbing . I guess more than anything I'm thinking of battery charging. General queries/thoughts... Safe to charge 18650 on a nitecore using a travel adapter for the plug? Ditto for say a usb device - mvp/vv3 - plug usb cable to mains adapter to travel adapter? Sorry - we go low tech on hol so never take smartphones, tablets, ereaders, laptops or whatever so am clueless over whats plausible or safe when it comes to charging stuff up in cheap accommodation abroad! Also would you take your regular kit or have you bought cheap but does-the-job stuff you wouldn't be too upset about losing/getting sand in/getting nicked etc... As long as its safe and good enough to keep me off the stinkies I'm happy! btw - at the moment I have a vv3, mvp2 and vtr (how did that happen lol) and very shortly getting a nemmy - but I suspect that holiday is NOT the place to learn about mech mods... Thanks

have not been to Greece - but just check what voltage they have - guess the same as in most European countries - then you are absolutely fine with a travel adapter and the mvp usb cable - specially as the mvp can charge other batteries as well - would take the batteries in the hand luggage - one full atty and maybe a10ml bottle ( without label ) in the clear plastic bag and you will be fine - the rest of the liquid off course in the check in luggage - would put it in extra plasticbags though - just in case it leaks

Thanks Clivia The usb charging options seems best then - at least no extra 18650s or whatever plus a charger to pack! My mvp and vv3 will get to see the sun! Oh - need to sort out a holiday first! Cheers

The main problem I see with vaping and holidays is you need to stay near you charging devices.
To this end I'm getting a luc v4 charger off torchy so I can charge 4 18650 batteries at a 1 amp charge for speed and off to take MVP2 and mod so always have something to vape on. Mrs will have her ego and my spinner. Might take one dripper but planning to use a few protank minis mainly as more discrete.

Looks about right, the output is correct for the MVP, and would of thought right for ego/spinners. Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using proboards

I pack enough kit for 3 times my stay, enough spares for same period, and some more because you never know, enough juice to fill the atlantic, 1 tee shirt 1 pair of pants (thats all I got room for lol). Seriously, I take double the amount of juice I think I need, 2 forms of charger (I had one fail while away) and a spare of any lead (ditto failure and could not find a micro USB lead in Dublin !!!). For your nitecore, take adapter, but I bought lead in europe, couple of quid with moulded on euro plug as sometimes with adapters and dodgy sockets they can fall out, I travel a lot so it was a nothing investment, charger will work fine whatever voltage (mine worked ok on the dodgy 110v in usa). If your real paranoid (i do this long trips) google your nearest vape supplier. MP Sorry forgot to add, have a nice holiday, we booked ours today

I go away a lot, I take my intellicharger i4 and 4 18650s, nemi clone and a dripper (atomic). Also a bit of wire and some cotton and 2 x 30ml juice. The i4 works on all voltages and fine on a plug adaptor. With that many batteries you can feel safe going out for the whole day and evening without worrying about running out and chuck them on charge when you get back to the hotel. I have put white electrical tape over the LEDs as they are quite bright in a hotel room, but you can still see them through the tape. If you think you will need to re-coil, take your tools in your suitcase - pre-torch your wire before you go.
A dripper is good as there is nothing to go wrong apart from burned cotton or blown coil (never had that personally) Also it won't leak on the plane due to pressure differences. Nemi clone is the same, completely reliable and trouble free.
In fact I'm back off to the States again tomorrow for a couple of days and will be taking exactly that kit with me.
I think you will be limited with a usb charged device as you can't swap batteries out.

+ 1 to what laser boy said ... Plus a bit of cotton wool... Screwdriver ... Preflamed wire .. 60-90 ml juice .. 4x 18650's and i4 charger .. With magneto & 2 nemesis clones ... 3 atties GT / 3.1/ Squape.... The way I see it I'm on holiday and vaping is something I enjoy so I'm not gonna scale down my vaping whilst on holiday
