Bored .. off to try our my blow torch

I've had a spectacularly dull day/weekend/week even, stuck inside studying proffesional ethics for a test which I'm bound to fail, should go to sleep.

But my blow torch arrived on Friday and yet to use it in anger!
As most of my stuff is coiled up ok I'm not sure what to do.
Maybe a protank coil, I've never attempted one though and want to be in bed in half an hour.
Or remove the dragon coil from my trident, was a bit of a fail anyhow!

Decision... Trident wins, coil... Not sure... Will update when done.

Well I made a very tidy small coil out of .2 kanthal.. so much easier with blowtorch, only to snap a leg tightening it down! Doh

If only that were true in the case of my trident! Threads are long shot and struggle to get them to screw down... Hard to tell when enough is enough.

Did a simple micro coil using 0.25 single coil in the end, my normal builds are with 0.32 as I find it hard to compress without messing up the coils usually but thought I'd try this as should warm up quicker and be better for my unused MVP.

Think I did seven wraps.. came out at 2.1, thought would be touch lower but was just guessing.
Surprise is that it is a real cloud machine! Big surprise maxed out watts of 11 on MVP.
I usually use dual coil .32 at 0.7 ohms on mech so wasn't expecting much be comparison.
Now I know I can make tidy coils with 0.25 I'll have to try some more experiments.

Must say though... Flavour is crap by comparison, but that's probably relalated to device.

I find running like a 2.5 ohm coil at say 7.5 watts gives me a nice flavour, I find the lower ohm/higher watts thing can make juice taste weird. It maybe depends on the juice though.

True might depend in juice or my naff tastebuds.
Reduced are flow and flavour was better, with less vaper.... Just not used to restriction in air flow now.

To be honest have always got more flavour from origen and my orieco, particularly the latter. Might be down to reduced chamber on orieco and incomparison to trident the vertical coils which both use which sit well clear of juice wells..... But I could be talking Bollocks lol.

Now I know I can make tidy coils, even at .2 mm, without needing to dryburn I might tackle the protank coil mountain at some point soon!

boyofford I'll stick it on the list, just bought a russian 91% online and an rsst off someone on here lol. I've been dripping with the AGI, Oooft that's just amazing! So yeh, that might just go on the list of things to buy for no apparent reason lol.
