Absolutely brilliant news Blownupdolly, let's hope it's a sign that there's a change in luck for many on here that have been having issues recently, especially you Super-Shiny. Dolly, I hope you're not going to turn puffingbilly into a poacher on the reserve, just because you fancy pheasant or grouse for Sunday lunch, and some fresh trout for midweek! I sincerely do hope this induces follow on good luck for all those who, like us, have gone through the mill recently. Especially @super-shiny who deserves it more than most. As for turning Mr Dolly into a poacher? There is more chance of me squeezing into Twiggys old jeans!! Even though he is a big lump of a man, he is the biggest softieI have ever met. He was only saying the other night, he didn't think he could ever bring himself to kill an animal.

I have managed to get myself in the naughty book already, and I haven't even moved in yet! Mr Dolly want to pop down there to take a look at the outside, so we drove down there. I told him to get wheelchair out so we could go check out the riverbank footpaths. He went up and peeped through a window. He isn't a peeping tom lol, nobody has moved in yet. I then decided I wanted to have a look too, so I got him to help me out the chair and scramble up to the window. It is just lovely! All of a sudden a woman's voice yelled out "can I help you?" She explained we shouldn't be there as the area was still legally a building site, even though it's only the garden areas that need finishing. She also asked who I was, so I explained I was having an official viewing next week. Thankfully, she has a sense of humour. I asked if I would get a black mark against my name, and she said yes, she was gonna write me in the book!! Didn't get to the riverbank either. Halfway down the the path in the woods, my wheels started skidding in mud!! Poor Mr Dolly had to get me out the chair and push it back up the slope a short way for me to get back. Decided to abandon mission till the weather dries up the mud.

I look forward to the future funny stories of you two trying to wheel spin back on the foot path from the pub.

I was thinking that pub would be great for a summer vape meet as the beer garden is right on the riverbank.

Great idea, Rayleigh only looked a couple of miles away,I think you can get any Southend train there. Or a quick dip from South Woodham Ferrers! I feel an afternoon meet coming on.

Yes, Rayleigh, Hockley or Battlesbridge are closest. Once weather gets warm and we are settled in, I will found up a few of us.the food in the pub isn't cheap, but very nice. I do love the beer garden though.
