I know there is a swanky pub restaurant close by to the home place on the riverbank. It's my birthday at the end of the month. If we manage to move quickly I might get treated for dinner there for a double celebration.

For those who are interested and have Google earth. The street is Tyndale Close, Hullbridge, Essex.

The more I look at it I think there's plenty of woodland, nature reserve between us and the river for it not to cause any problems, but, on the upside, I can see lots of paths in and out of the woods. If we go along the riverbank a short distance we end up at the pub! Woohoo! No more teetotal having to drive! Can you be arrested for being drunk in charge of a wheelchair?

My son in law just took me down there for a flying look on the outside as curiosity was driving me mad. It is way way nicer than the google pics! They literally have just refurbished the whole place inside and out. There's lovely garden areas outside that still haven't got the turf down yet. A real plus bonus is that there are no longer just windows, they have made lovely double patio doors on each one. Even on the upstairs ones which have Juliette balconies with fancy black wrought iron railings.
I couldn't get out of the car, but SIL had a peep through a window and said it was all brand new inside with carpets and new modern kitchen area.

If it's ok inside we will definitely take it. It's a lovely quiet area. Can even see the river through the trees.

Couldn't take our mouldy old shed there. Everything is shiny and new. The local derby and Joan club would get us evicted before we'd moved in!

I'm thinking man cave in the woods next door. seniorphil offered to help me out. I will get him to big me a big hole!

Absolutely brilliant news Blownupdolly, let's hope it's a sign that there's a change in luck for many on here that have been having issues recently, especially you Super-Shiny.

Dolly, I hope you're not going to turn puffingbilly into a poacher on the reserve, just because you fancy pheasant or grouse for Sunday lunch, and some fresh trout for midweek!
