Bel, the U.S. is not known for great public transportation, except for the big cities, like New York.

A standard transmission, Bel, manual shifting, working a floor clutch. P.S., no smartass comments from me, but I know a couple of guys who are going to be sorry that they weren't here to make a comment.

yeah left hand shifting LOL ...my ex inlaws have a 2007 Mustang Roush...awesome car, think they got stage III... the shame is you have too many trafic cops
a stick shift is a normal 5 speed gear box Bel.... our American cousins like their automatics. i think its so they can keep one hand free to hold their big gulp (huge drink) lol

It doesn't have to be a 5 speed, Tye. I had a Camaro with a 3 speed floor shift, then a Chevy truck with a 4 speed floor shift and then I went to an automatic, because it's stop and go traffic here and I was constantly shifting.

The Roush is a nice (and expensive) version of the Mustang. I'm starting to think that all you Brits are rich, what with the fancy cars and the trips to the states and all over Europe.

I remember when I lived on the continent, Hubby used to put post its on the dashboard to remind me which side of the road to drive on when I got off the ferry lol
When drivign my left hand drive vehicle for the first few days, I used to try to change gear and end up opening the window, soon got the hang of it but it got very confusing for a few minutes when I changed back to a UK car
