Fasttech - Glass Squape - Discontinued

Hi All

Just a quick heads up really to let anyone know? that if like me you was looking forward to getting your glass squape from Fasttech?


Picture says it all really, they are Discontinued.
Does seem to be a few problems reported with them, and one of them being a short in the base.
Some are being sent a new base? some have been asked to return them? some have not, so at the mo?
does seem a bit of a balls up on fasttech's part.
Have just sent them a ticket about it so don't know whats happening myself yet
And my one is due to be with me anyday now, so it might be ok who knows.
so i will see what mine is like, when it arrives.

This is the latest on FT forum regarding SQuape "A":

Hi, everyone. We discontinued this item temporarily due to receiving quality complaint recently and we are negotiating the problem and solution with the supplier. We will update you on next Monday or Tuesday.

All existing order will be suspended for shipment till the quality issue is sorted out. Thank you.

I've got a few of these on-route:(. I also ordered the version B, which has been shipped also. I'm confident that FT customer support will make this right, as they have improved in that department tremendously.

Incidentally, if you're having trouble getting your tickets answered - Just open a ticket under 'pre-sale/general sale question' something like that anyhow, and since I've been doing that, my tickets have been answered within 36 hours. Just put your SKU in the description/SKU box and bobs your uncle and fannys your aunt.

I cancelled mine a few days ago due to the feedback from the ones received. Ended up getting a fogger v2 instead, next day shipping..... sorted!

To say a "few problems" is a bit of an understatement. Type B's are failing every day, check out the forum there are hundreds of posts all saying DOA.

They are sending out new bases to me and my son, but I hope they are not from the same batch. They wont say.

The problem is with the positive post, it seems to be fitted into the same non-conductive material as the non-conductive part of the base.
Result = It's non-conductive!

Both mine and my sons work if you tighten the 510 screw in the base (really tight), then go dead after 10 minutes or so.

Type A's don't seem to be affected, different manufacturer.

Think they have switched the A' & B's as I cancelled my type A when the B came out. It was supposed to be better non-conductive material.

I suppose it is.

First thing i will do with mine, is make sure it is fireing, then if im happy i will give it a bath & clean and then
And have read through some of the DOA posts, and must say? does not look good.
also ok if they are sending a new base out as long as it sorts out the problems.
On a good note? their is one good review on the site

Type A is the one now discontinued & with all the complaints, Type B is still available & I don't think anybody has a type B from fasttech to review it yet

I have a type A that is in UK so should be with me any day now

I'm lucky enough to own a genuine kayfun lite, kayfun 3.1, an original IAtty, two Roses, a taifun, a cobra and an Ithaka, I've got a couple of clones from the early 2013's too! You know, when they used to bother even trying to make an effort, 'Hercules, dream etc' the thing is China insists on thinking we're all about drilling down the price which we're not. If you're going to rip something then do it properly and charge $40 !

Not looking good after reading FT feed back from buyers.

Will test it, then contact Paypal & FT.

Shame was looking forward to trying this RBA.

Let`s keep fingers crossed, that we may get correct working models.

True jeffc its not as if we all ain't got nothing else to vape with is it.
But the thing that annoys me the most about fasttech? is how long we have all had to wait, to have this pile of crap shipped?
For me i think it was 12 days from order. Not good enougth is it.
The only way to stop this is? if its not in stock or says ships the next day? then don't order it.
That would really bugger them up.
So when i make my next order? in stock or ships next day? goes in me basket.
But knowing fasttech as we all do, that order still won't ship the next day
so all of us get the good batch ones
